No One Can Keep The Law, No One is Righteous Under Law

~ We continue on our study in the book of Romans. And we are now going into the second chapter of Romans and we see Paul speaking about the law. And the details of this matter. Many will take the following verses of scripture and try to convince a person that they must keep the law. But here is the thing, only perfection will do. And that is what the apostle Paul is getting at here. He is showing how strict the law is, and if you want to be justified by law keeping, you have to keep it all. Paul shows people that here they are judging others by certain law keeping, yet they themselves don’t keep the law either. And it doesn’t matter whether we are talking about the Hebrews or the Gentiles, because both are sinners, and gentiles have a law unto themselves, their own conscience. We Who Are In Christ Jesus Are Called Saints, NOT Sinners!

“To all in Rome who are loved by God and called SAINTS: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 1:7

~ Having a proper identity is paramount to understanding who we are in Christ Jesus. Once a person is in Christ, they are called a Saint. No one is a saint based on what they do or don’t do, but is exclusively based on who is inside them, God the Holy Spirit. Don’t let people throw you on a guilt trip telling you that you are a sinner if the Holy Spirit lives inside of you. You became a Saint of God on the very day you placed faith in Jesus, God in the flesh, for having taken away ALL your sins at the cross. So that when God looks upon you, He sees you as one with His Son, God. Nothing can separate that identity away from you. ~ “For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17 In this verse of Scripture, we see Faith as something a person lives by from first to last. From start to finish. It is not something they begin by Faith, and then go out in the energy of their flesh and do stuff for God or NOT do stuff the law says not to do. It is constantly trusting in God at every moment of every day to trust in the TRUSTWORTHY One of God to have done all that He said He did (took away all your sins at the cross), and to Trust in Him to do All that He said He would do in your life (never to leave you nor forsake you). And having been given His righteousness when we placed Faith in Him, He lives in us forever and ever and ever.

Faith Says Thank You to God For What He Did For You!

~ In yesterday’s broadcast, we heard about Faith and Works. Today, we hear the direct application of how Faith and Works are tied together. No amount of working will cause God to save you. Only by Faith is a person Saved, by the Life of Jesus coming to live inside of them, through the Holy Spirit making them born again of the Spirit of God for eternal life. The work (singular) of the ministry is to Believe in Jesus that He did it all for You personally. That happens at a single point in time. It doesn’t happen over and over and over again, as though you can make God forgive you more, or save you more. The Work of The Ministry is to Believe in Jesus

~ The book of James chapter 2 verses 18 through 26 gives two prime examples of Faith and Works. Yet most overlook the details in the Word of God, and simply take a quote from Scripture, out of context, and declare, “faith without works is dead” even though it doesn’t specifically say that in most of the translations. Most people have no clue what “Faith” is, and no clue what “Works” is either. They come up with all types of ideas of what constitutes a “good work” and it’s most people that are like this that have never exercised true Faith in the Faithful One of God, Jesus, God in Flesh. They do not know the work of the ministry is to Believe in Jesus.

Let’s get back to the two examples of faith and works to see how Faith and Works, works together. Details matter in Everything.
