Seek His Righteousness

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P07 (10-03-22)

When You Place Faith in Christ, He is Credited to You as Righteousness ~ Rest Today in His Righteousness!

~ And so and by faith, Israel was saved. They weren’t saved through the law. They were saved by faith. Moses, believed God that was credited to him his righteousness. The Israelites believed Moses, and followed him over into the desert by faith and faith alone. So that’s an interesting thing, isn’t it that that here, even the Israelites were saved by faith, not by the law, but by faith. Now, then the Israelites in the desert, wanted some law. And so God said, Well, okay, I’ll get I’ll give you some law. And then we talked about last week about what the stringency of that law is, here it is, and I’m commanding you to keep all of it, every single bit of it, and the response from the Israelite was, we will do it, Lord. In other words, don’t worry about us, we will do it.

Classic Christianity and Growing in Grace

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P775 (09-30-22)

When We Are In Christ, Christ is In Us, Giving Us His Eternal Life!

~ When a believer in Christ Jesus dies, they are absent from the body and present with the Lord. We live by faith from first to last. As we grow in the grace of God, we learn more and more about Him. Eternal life begins the very moment you accept Jesus. Salvation is Life, His life coming to live in you for ever and ever. The cross took away all of our sins. He did not cover sins, he took it away. Because sin is no longer being counted against us, nothing can separate His eternal life from us when we have received Him. God wants you to know you have Eternal Life!

“Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:6-9

“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Below is an excerpt from the book “What About …? 1 John 1:9”

“Any good theologian will tell you that it’s intellectual suicide to build an entire doctrine around one verse of scripture. But that’s exactly what we have done with 1 John 1:9. Nowhere else in the New Testament, from the cross on, is the concept of asking God’s forgiveness mentioned. The Apostle Paul never broached the subject. He didn’t have too. He stood firm in the fact that he was a forgiven person and that those to whom he wrote were forgiven people.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Rest in Jesus

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P06 (09-28-22)

We Know, Without The Shedding of Blood, There is No Forgiveness. ~ Hebrews 9:22 ~ So Rest!

~ Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness, there’s no more shedding of blood, there’s no more sacrifice. So either keep trying in the desert, or enter in to this Sabbath rest, and rest from your works just as I rested from mine.

You know, folks, that rest still stands. And that is the offer that is still out to each and every one of us that that Sabbath rest still stands and it says, I just did I warn you don’t fail to enter into that thing. And in other words, why would you want to roam in the desert, for the rest of your life playing church in the desert, instead of enjoying the benefits of the life that is available to you in Christ Jesus, and folks that isn’t a life of prosperity and a life of never being sick and all that stuff? That’s desert stuff as well. We’re talking about entering into peace in your soul.

Jesus Has Forgiven You Completely

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P04 (09-26-22)

Do We Really Believe it is Finished? Do You Believe Jesus Completed Forgiveness on the Cross for You?

~ Most people involved in Christianity are living like they are still in the desert, or worse, still in Egypt as a slave. They refuse to enter into the promised land by faith. Because they still have one foot in the law, and the other foot in grace, which is really not grace at all. They pretend that they are obeying the 10 commandments, and they know in their hearts they can’t obey them, so then they pretend that they try and obey them. They call God a liar by their very actions. They make a mockery of the cross. God tells us to enter into the New Covenant. Leave behind the old, and enter into the new today. Enter into the Promised Land for you!
