The Law is Like a Mirror

Classic Christianity – That Ugly Flesh – Part 2 – 5-26-26

~ There are so many people today that are pretend lawkeepers, and they are proud of it too. They even think that because the Holy Spirit lives in them, that their own flesh upholds the law. It’s very very strange how people could think that way, when God knows exactly what you are thinking at every moment in time. For our own thoughts betray us. And folks, we are so easily deceived in this period of great deception that is upon the whole world that even Christians strut their flesh as though they are obeying every law that was written in the book of Moses. They think they are living as the Israelites lived. And people will pat each other on the back, and give accolades to each other, saying good job for preaching law obedience. Yet when we look at the love department, it shows that a person is NOT always loving toward others. And if they say they are, they are lying to themselves and others too. Because only Christ Jesus is the perfect Love of God. And even the apostle Paul considered all of his law keeping in his former life as dung, compared to knowing Christ Jesus.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Woe to Teachers of the Law

Classic Christianity – That Ugly Flesh – Part 1 – 5-25-26

~ Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you.

Watch out for those dogs, those workers of evil, those mutilators of the flesh! For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh— though I myself could have such confidence. Philippians 3:1-4a

~ Here’s where the rubber meets the road. Do we tell it like it is, or do we cover over the TRUTH of the word of God? There are lessons in life that we need to see for ourselves, and that is we are to tell it like it is, especially when the Holy Spirit is clearly instructing you to say what He wants you to say. By the way, dogs still are amongst us today. And it’s more prevelant than most imagine it to be. Because the Truth of the matter is all of the Christian Industrial Complex is run by the dogs themselves. And most have no clue.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Law And Grace

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P31 (11-29-22)

If Righteousness Came Through the Law Then Christ Died For Nothing

~ “You’re never going to receive life. If you’re dead. Life cannot come from the law. Justification cannot come from the law. None of those things can come from the law. So there’s no reward. That’s what he’s saying. There’s no reward under the law, only condemnation. So why would you want to live under something that that the result of living under is a curse? And yet people want to and the other thing that I’ve noticed is when you have people who are objecting to the teaching of grace, it’s always why what you’re teaching is going to give them a license to sin. Have you ever noticed how it’s always them? Who’s going to have a license and never you but them that that by listen, and Bob Davis, I know him you take him under the law, and he just gonna go wild now me I’m wonderful. I’m never in a in an amazing how, how it’s always what how about them? Jesus said, Forget about them, you’re the problem, you are the problem.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Victory Over Depression - Book
Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P496 (12-06-19)

Synopsis

As we live in our present bodies, in this sin-indwelling flesh, none of us are beyond falling into old sinful patterns. Yes, we, who are in Christ, live under the grace of God, but we never want to take advantage of God’s grace and live in sin for which Christ has set us free. So Paul addresses the church in Corinth, for the third time now, and is grieved and humbled to go over these same matters again. He provides firm correction, as we read in 1 Corinthians, about a man who has his father’s wife. The Corinthian church was boasting and should be grieved. The church listened to Paul’s instruction, and the man was put out of fellowship with the church, to be handed over to Satan so his flesh will be destroyed. We read in 2 Corinthians that the discipline of the many was sufficient, and the man went out of his way to clear himself of this matter, having true godly sorrow over sin. The church was then instructed to go out of their way to show their love to him so he is not overcome with grief, otherwise he might never recover.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Classic Christianity – Our Attitude Towards Legalism Part 2 (03-26-19)

Bob George, of the original People to People radio program for over 30 years, shares about what our attitude should be towards legalism. Follow along in Matthew 23 to see the example of Jesus attitude toward the religious Pharisees, the legalists in his day. Bob George continues to share the seven woes Jesus spoke to the Pharisees. As you think of how Jesus spoke to the Pharisees there is a tendency to not think of yourself as a legalist or as someone who does not have a tendency towards legalism in our natural flesh. We are so often blind to our sin. Yet Jesus, perfectly righteous and holy, tells the truth in love. Truth may not be pleasant to hear but it the truth you need to hear. Jesus is full of love so he will tell you the truth. The truth shall set you free and truth deals in reality. He will always call sin what it is. We should never get to the point in our lives when we call sin something other than what it really is. When we are found to be in sin, then we can go to God’s grace in Jesus to be set free.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
