Do You Want to Get Well?

~ “When Jesus saw him lying there and realized that he had spent a long time in this condition, He asked him, “Do you want to get well?” John 5:6

~ Jesus, God in the flesh, asked, “Do you want to get well?” And today, the Holy Spirit is asking the same question, “Do you want to get well?” And many times, people actually do not want to get well with their soul. They might be looking for physical healing, but they are not interested in being healed in their inner being. And so, the healing takes place when a person wants to be healed. That is key to being made whole. And the Truth will set you free, and you will know Him indeed.

~ Of His speaking these things, many believed in Him. Therefore Jesus was saying to the Hebrews having believed in Him, “If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set free you.” John 8:30-32

When the Holy Spirit comes to indwell a person today, He teaches us the mystery of His will. Now it’s important for us to understand, that those who are not in Christ Jesus, who are not born of God, will not understand the mystery of God, for they do not have Truth living in them. And you can speak to someone, till blue in the face, of the things of God, and they will not have a clue what you are even talking about. It requires the Holy Spirit living in a person to teach a person what the word of God means. ~ Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephasians 1:1,2

Paul was writing to the SAINTS in Ephesus, and he wanted them to know something. He wanted them to know that in Christ Jesus they were set apart. They were made HOLY in the sight of God. He called the SAINTS. Saints are NOT something the Catholic church says are saints. Those are nothing but lies by the Catholic church by the way. A person is a Saint when the Holy Spirit indwells them. God makes a person a saint, NOT man, and certainly not demonically controlled religion centers.

A person is not a saint based on what they do or don’t do. A person is a Saint because of who they place Faith in. And only those who place Faith in the True Jesus are saved. ~ Only those who are born again of the Spirit of God, have the Holy Spirit living in them for Life. Many think they are born again, and are simply professors but NOT possessors of the Spirit of God living in them. For if they did, they would want to know more, and understand more, and to be inquiring of God. They would be seeking out for Truth and understanding. Yet we can tell, by the actions of many people today, they have a ho-hum attitude to the things of God. ~ Do we really believe this, or do we go out in the energy of the flesh and try to do things for Jesus, as though we can actually do something for Jesus? People give lip service to the Word of God. They really don’t believe that they can do NOTHING, apart from Jesus. Surely the satan (satan means adversary and opposer) whispers in our ears, “surely you can do something for God. After all, God certainly doesn’t expect you to not do anything…” And that is where satan sows to our flesh, and opposes TRUTH. For the flesh wants to make itself look good. It wants to puff itself up and say, “look what I am doing for God.” The flesh loves the accolades and the attention.
