Faith That Pleases God Jesus

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P83 (03-25-24)

Jesus Said it is Finished, Walk in HIS Forgiveness Today

~ To this day, people refuse to come to the knowledge of TRUTH. Oh, they say they believe in Jesus, and add the word BUT to their arsenal. Oh, I believe my sins have been forgiven, BUT I’ve got to ask Jesus to forgive me. Oh, I believe I am righteous in the sight of God, but I’ve got to please him by doing good things. Oh, I believe that God saved me forever, BUT you can lose your salvation. Oh, I believe that God saves without having do do any good works, BUT you need to do good works. And on and on it goes, with the lies of Satan. Satan and the demons are saying, “Did Jesus really say it is finished? Maybe God only meant that it was only finished for Him what He did, now you better toe the line, or else God is going to zap you.” Many people will even get mad as a disturbed hornet’s nest when you point out the truth to them. They will constantly say, “You’ve got to repent of all your … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P837 (05-25-23)

The Perfect Love of Jesus Casts Away ALL Fear

~ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

~ It’s so important for us to remember that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. No one gets out of this world in their body of flesh that they were first born into. The child of God has a much better hope waiting for them, a new body that will never see sickness or decay. That is something all of us in Christ Jesus have to look forward to.

~ “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Forgave You on The Cross Forgiveness is Finished

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P726 (04-15-22)

“It is Finished!” Confess: Agree With God That Your Sins Are Forgiven!

Do we really believe in what Jesus did on the cross, when He cried out, “It is Finished!”? Or do we simply give lip service to His statement? Jesus forgave you for all of your sins on the cross. That does not mean everyone is saved. Reminder, salvation is life. It is His life coming into you when you place faith in Him and what He did for you. Now we say, “Thank you Jesus” as a confession of our faith. We thank Him for the forgiveness He did on the cross for us. Today we can boldly proclaim, “Behold the Lamb of God who TOOK AWAY the sins of the world!” Do you believe it? Do you really believe in Him? Which side of the cross do we live on today?

The first caller was Eddie from Harlingen, Texas. His question was in regards to visions, and wondered if visions were for today. The topic then went into prophecy too.

Bob explains to Eddie that with Jesus, prophecy and visions were replaced by Jesus. Now Bob did mention … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Loves The World

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P700 (01-14-22)

Walking in Our Dependency of Love – Jesus is Love

Matthew called in regards to a question he had about Love in the bible study booklet “A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ.”

Bob mentions that once we understand the love of God for us, then we begin to have that same love for others. It’s a process though and a renewing of our mind by Him doing it in and through us.

Understanding the Love of God

  • It’s the love of God,
  • that results in the dependency upon God,
  • that then results in the obedience to God.

Romans 8:38,39
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John the second caller called from Atlanta, Georgia. He wanted to know about finances and job hunting.

Bob summed up the answer matter-of-factly, go interview for a job. And, sometimes you may have to interview with a hundred … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Saved by Jesus Life

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P7 (11-30-21)

What is the Meaning of the Resurrection?

Many times a person will tell you that the meaning of Jesus’ death on the cross was for forgiveness, but when you ask a person the meaning of the resurrection of Jesus, they are likely to give you a blank look on their face. They may say that was what verified that He died on the cross for our sins, yet they don’t have a clue what His resurrection life is all about.

Salvation is life. And, if indeed Christ is not raised from the dead, then our faith is worthless. The resurrection is key for LIFE. The death of Jesus did not provide life. Jesus death provided forgiveness but the resurrected life brings life to you and me through faith in Him.

1 Corinthians 15:17
17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.

Hebrews 10:17
17 Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

Romans 5:10
10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of

It is Finished on the Cross

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P19 (09-20-21)

By the Spirit, Study the Word to Know the Truth About Forgiveness and Salvation

There is a lot of misunderstanding of the finality of the cross in the world of Christendom today. When you know the truth from the Word of God, then whatever error is out there can easily be spotted. When Jesus said, “It is finished” when dying on a cross, what did He mean?

John 19:30
30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

31 Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.

What is finished? What was accomplished when Jesus died on a cross? And, was His death all that was necessary for man to be saved? To be saved means to be saved from death by being made alive in Christ. Death is an eternal separation from God. … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
