Bob George TeachingBob George continues teaching from the book of John. Bob shares what it means to born again, to have the Holy Spirit living in you, as John Baptist testified that Jesus would do. He also shares again some of the ways people have believed in error, following other doctrines and misplaced trust, believing in anything except Jesus Christ alone or even believing in Jesus plus something. Indeed, Jesus plus anything nullifies the finished work of Jesus Christ, and is really a false gospel one is believing. He also shares about those who only looked for what Jesus could do for them but had no change of heart, concerning who God is or even failing to recognize their own condition in sin to have a reason to come to believe. He shares a message Jesus told that should send chills to religious people who think so highly of themselves by the works they do, but fail to recognize Jesus and come to him for life and righteousness. Bob George TeachingBob George continues teaching from the book of John. Bob George shares that Jesus is more than a man. He is the pre-existent one, God in the flesh. John the Baptist testifies of this by saying Jesus has come from heaven. John Baptist says that he speaks as one from the earth, but Jesus speaks about what he has seen and heard. The testimony of God, the message of new life that Jesus Christ proclaimed, had to come from heaven, yet no one accepts his testimony. The real question that needs to be answered is this: “Have you received life in Jesus Christ”? Bob George answers this question from various passages of scripture, explaining the condition of man and God’s provision in Jesus Christ. All men born in Adam are dead in sin, condemned already, and his greatest need is new spiritual life. God’s complete and total provision came to man in the gift of Jesus Christ. Nicodemus was pondering in his heart: “Could this be the promised Messiah”? having seen or heard the miracles Jesus did that no man could do. Jesus came for one purpose, to restore lost humanity back in relationship with him. Do you know that those who are born again in Jesus Christ are now being trained and equipped by the indwelling Holy Spirit? Let us learn together, relying on the Holy Spirit to teach us from His word. And, if you are like Nicodemus, being darkened in understanding, listen to truth so you can be born again spiritually. So, how does the Holy Spirit train us as born again children of God? Are we not trained in truth, applying such truths to overcome fear and anxiety, to live different from the world, in a peace that surpasses understanding as we are being renewed in our minds. Bob George TeachingBob George continues with his study on the book of John, sharing truth from God’s word that transforms lives with a message of God’s amazing grace. He is now in John 2, and mentions why certain events are in the other synoptic gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke, but not in John. The major focus on John is on the love of God so one will not read about the detailed account of Jesus temptation in the wilderness in John as in the other synoptic gospels. Bob highlights certain events recorded in John concerning in the early life of Jesus, such as the miracle at the wedding in Cana and clearing the temple. Bob emphasized the miracles of Jesus and mentioned it was vital to have proper understanding of the Jews response. Even though many believed in his name, Jesus would not entrust himself to them for he knew what was in a man (John 2:24). Bob asked the question that because they believed in his name, seeing the miracles, does that mean they were saved? Bob George TeachingBob George continues his teaching from the book of John on the complete forgiveness and the love of God through Jesus Christ. Bob George shares to help the listener come to understand doctrine, particularly the concept of the trinity, as revealed through the book of John. He also shares from supporting scriptures to encourage the listener to internalize truths concerning Christ and yourself. His hope, and the hope of those in Christ, is for the listener to understand personally the forgiveness of sin and the receiving of new life in Christ. You can walk in that new life today. Bob emphasized again that truth is revealed to men through His word. There is no other way to understand the meaning of God’s word except by the Spirit of God.

Bob addresses such topics as knowing what the word of God means (doctrine), where the doctrine of the Trinity comes from, what does the Spirit look like, what do you believe and why do you believe it, the role of the Holy Spirit in teaching you the meaning of His word, the application of doctrine to your life, the conflict of the flesh and the Spirit, choices as a child of God, who can become a child of God, law and grace before Moses, law and punishment, atonement in contrast to the taking away of sin, who goes to hell and for what sin, judging others instead of seeing yourself in the light of Christ, unmet expectation of others, blindness of all men, darkness and light, cause of death and receiving of new life, the need of the cross, the forgiveness of sin, and the foundation of God’s love for you.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Bob teaches out of the Book of Galatians, Chapter 6. Bob talks about the circumcised group (the Hebrews) and the uncircumcised group (the Gentiles). God doesn’t look at the outside of man but looks at what is going on the inside. Understanding it is a relationship with God that is important for every person.

Not Circumcision but the New Creation

Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.
