Jesus is Our Righteousness a Gift From God

~ For the saved person, they have been set free from the law of sin and death. We have the Righteousness of God living in us, His Holy Spirit. We are to walk in His righteousness, not our own. For the lost person, the offer of His righteousness, Jesus’ Righteousness is available to all, simply by accepting the free gift He has offered to all people. ~ Most people today don’t understand what Faith really is. They have applied their own meaning to the word faith or even have listened to false teachers teach the lies of Satan in regards to faith, instead of looking at the real meaning from the word of God. Faith is always responding properly to Truth. True Faith is trusting in Jesus to have done it all for you. True Faith does the work of God, which is to believe in Jesus. That is the work that God wants us to do, to believe in Him. True Faith allows God through the Holy Spirit to direct our paths moment by moment of the day. True Faith is faith from first to last. True Faith is manifested when we come to the knowledge of Truth and properly react to Truth. True Faith is when a person has Love living in them. True Repentance is a Change of Mind in Regards to Jesus and What He Did For You

~ “It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age— and then have fallen away—to be restored to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame.” Hebrews 6:4-6

~ The very moment we receive Jesus, we received Eternal Life in Him. We are saved from the consequences of sin, which is death, and He gives us Life by the Spirit of God. People that are falling away from this Truth have never been saved in the first place. They have never repented in the first place. Now they may say they have repented, but by their very fruits of not believing that their sins have been forgiven at that cross, are not saved.

Abiding in the Holy Spirit is a Moment by Moment Choice by Us

~ “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither you, unless you abide in Me.” John 15:4

~ We are to place faith from first to last. Faith is a moment by moment choice we all have to make. And the faith is that God lives in us when we are in Christ Jesus. And He said the Holy Spirit would direct us in ALL TRUTH. Our flesh doesn’t want to be directed by the Holy Spirit. It wants to do things our own way, instead of His way. And when we fight against what the Holy Spirit wants us to do, we know it in our heart. Because the Holy Spirit will be talking to us, teaching us, disciplining us. And many times that discipline doesn’t feel good at the time. But when we look back on it, we see what the Lord wanted us to understand. And we can say thank you for teaching me TRUTH. Now we are coming to the point in the book of Romans and Paul is teaching us as to who we are IN Christ Jesus, if a person is indeed IN Christ Jesus. And that is a very important distinction to know and understand. NOT everyone is in Christ Jesus. Sure they may say they know Jesus, but do they really know the True Jesus of the word of God? Purpose of The Law

Classic Christianity – Book of Romans P29 (12-10-24)

I Do Not Understand What I Do

~ “We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do. But what I hate, I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I admit that the law is good. In that case, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.” Romans 7:14,15

God knows us better than we know ourselves. When a person tries to obey the Law, it simply causes more sin in a person’s life. And they will constantly be chasing the sin tiger by the tail. For no one can obey the Law. And that is the point of the law in the first place, in order to show us how utterly sinful we really are.

It’s interesting, how hardly any would be law keeper hypocrite talks about the sin of covetousness, and dismisses even acknowledging that they covet things. Because that is one of the sins that is of the heart.
