~ “So when Christ Jesus comes to invade your life, does he come to invade your life? To have taken away all of your sins never to see them again? bought you back from darkness into light. reconciled you justified you? Did he do all of those things so that we can continue doing in the energy of our flesh what we were doing before we are born again? In other words, did Christ come to live within you in order to lead you back into a life of lasciviousness? And that is absolutely idiotic. But Bob, that is what the average Christian believes today. ~ “The question is, is very well put, because every command that Jesus ever commanded us is an impossibility for us to carry out in the energy of our flesh. It is a total impossibility. When it says to be holy, as your Father in heaven is holy, how are you going to carry that out? It talks about the fact of being perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect? How in the world are we going to carry that out? It talks about all of the things that Jesus taught, they are absolute standards of what what holiness is, and what perfection is, and what goodness is and everything connected with God. The Law Cannot Give You Life ~ Only Jesus Can Give Life!

~ “Now, here’s the good news. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Because through Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of Life, set me free from the law of sin and death. Under the law, the wages of sin is death. And the gift of God is life. There was no human solution to that, folks, there was only a godly solution, and that is through the only one who could give you and me life and that’s Christ Jesus. Why? verse three For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature. What was the law powerless to do? We talked about that a couple of weeks ago, it was powerless to bring life. If life could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing. It was powerless to bring righteousness to a person. Those In Christ Jesus Have Been Set Free From the Law of Sin and Death!

~ “I don’t think there’s a more important thing for us to get a grasp on Bob than what we’re talking about right now. Because it’s the thing that causes the conflict and people sitting bound, doubting their salvation and everything else. And especially with teaching that sometimes takes place that if you’re truly born again, why you’ll never sin again, and you’ll never have a experience a desire to sin again, and all that type of thing, which is just utter nonsense. And so what you’re what you are dealing with folks, is the fact that we are left with these bodies of ours, with something called indwelling sin living in these bodies of ours, it’s no longer I, And who am I? You Can’t Live By Law and By the Spirit At The Same Time

~ “You don’t live by principles, you don’t live by law. You don’t live by promises. You live by a life and that life is Christ Jesus the life I live, Paul said, I live by my promises. No, I live by faith in the Son of God, the One who loved me and gave himself for me. I am crucified. Nevertheless, I live by principles is that what it says? No does not. I am crucified nevertheless I live yet not it’s I but it is Christ that lives in me. I don’t live by the law. I don’t live by principles. I don’t live by my promises. I don’t live by my commitments. I don’t live by my accountability groups. I live by Christ Jesus because He lives I live. Now, that is truth out of the Word of God.
