True Repentance is a Change of Mind in Regards to Jesus and What He Did For You

~ “It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age— and then have fallen away—to be restored to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame.” Hebrews 6:4-6

~ The very moment we receive Jesus, we received Eternal Life in Him. We are saved from the consequences of sin, which is death, and He gives us Life by the Spirit of God. People that are falling away from this Truth have never been saved in the first place. They have never repented in the first place. Now they may say they have repented, but by their very fruits of not believing that their sins have been forgiven at that cross, are not saved.

Abiding in the Holy Spirit is a Moment by Moment Choice by Us

~ “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither you, unless you abide in Me.” John 15:4

~ We are to place faith from first to last. Faith is a moment by moment choice we all have to make. And the faith is that God lives in us when we are in Christ Jesus. And He said the Holy Spirit would direct us in ALL TRUTH. Our flesh doesn’t want to be directed by the Holy Spirit. It wants to do things our own way, instead of His way. And when we fight against what the Holy Spirit wants us to do, we know it in our heart. Because the Holy Spirit will be talking to us, teaching us, disciplining us. And many times that discipline doesn’t feel good at the time. But when we look back on it, we see what the Lord wanted us to understand. And we can say thank you for teaching me TRUTH. Therefore, There is Now NO Condemnation for Those Who ARE IN Christ Jesus.

~ “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4

Now we are coming to the point in the book of Romans and Paul is teaching us as to who we are IN Christ Jesus, if a person is indeed IN Christ Jesus. And that is a very important distinction to know and understand. NOT everyone is in Christ Jesus. Sure they may say they know Jesus, but do they really know the True Jesus of the word of God? I Do Not Understand What I Do

~ “We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do. But what I hate, I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I admit that the law is good. In that case, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.” Romans 7:14,15

God knows us better than we know ourselves. When a person tries to obey the Law, it simply causes more sin in a person’s life. And they will constantly be chasing the sin tiger by the tail. For no one can obey the Law. And that is the point of the law in the first place, in order to show us how utterly sinful we really are.

It’s interesting, how hardly any would be law keeper hypocrite talks about the sin of covetousness, and dismisses even acknowledging that they covet things. Because that is one of the sins that is of the heart. Serve God in the Spirit, Not by The Law

~ “Therefore, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. For when we lived according to the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, bearing fruit for death. But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.” Romans 7:5-6

When a person becomes a child of God, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we are to serve God in a new way, by His Spirit living in us, guiding us in ALL Truth, and abiding in Him by Faith. And faith is responding properly to Truth. Faith is drawing proper conclusions to the Truth that has been revealed to us. All Men are Born Dead, Without the Spirit of God Living in Them

~ Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:12 If a person doesn’t know they are dead, why would they ever turn to Jesus for Life? It’s one thing to know that our sins have been forgiven at the cross, it’s something else to understand that we are ALL dead without the Life giver living inside us, the Holy Spirit of God, the One that gives us eternal life the moment we place faith in Him. No man is ever born physically by natural birth, alive spiritually. We were All born in the image of the fallen Adam, dead. And scripture is crystal clear on this. And most people don’t know that, nor do they want to know the Truth of that. They would much rather promote Satan’s lie that we are all basically good, and that we are to look at the good in people.
