Jesus is Love: Perfect Love Drives Out Fear

~ “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:18

“I can tell you where your anger comes from. Anger comes from fear. And anger is a secondary response to fear. And men don’t like to admit they’re fearful. So they just take it up and angry. They don’t mind saying I’m angry. But anger is just a sign of the fears that are within you. It could be the fear of again, of not being able to stay sober. Fear of not being able to live the kind of life you want to live, fear of people finding out what’s really going on under the skin. There’s a lot of things that we live in fear. And there’s only one solution. And I say that very emphatically one and one alone, one solution to fear. And that’s the perfect love of God perfect love casts away all fear, not some fear, but all of it. Walk by Abiding in Christ Jesus Not by The Flesh

~ “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

Any lost person can abide in ethics, but only a child of God can abide in Christ Jesus. Many a Christian, come to life in Christ Jesus but then go out there and try to live in the energy of the flesh. They try to follow principles. They try to follow ethics.

“And so we’re gonna say, am I going to be arrogant? Am I going to act on becomingly? Am I seeking your interests over and above my own? That’s what Christ did. And here we’re saying, Well, I follow christian ethics, folks, that isn’t the issue, are you abiding in Christ? that’s the issue. And if you are, then you’re going to be abiding in His love, in his acceptance, in his kindness, in His mercy in His grace, that’s what it means to walk abiding in Christ. ~ “And God who is love, you can’t separate those two, God is love. And so when you and I are indwelt, by Christ Jesus, we are indwelt by his love. Now, that’s true, whether you experience it or whether you don’t experience it. It’s true whether you fully understand it or don’t understand it, it still is true. That nothing can separate you from the love of God, whether you become convinced of that or not, is not the issue. The issue of truth, that is that is truth, whether you experience it or whether you don’t.”

When a Person Receives Jesus, Places Faith in Him, He Places us Into the Body of Christ

~ Jesus is the only place we can find unconditional acceptance by God. We spend our lives looking for love in all the wrong places. The kind of love that only God can provide is found in Jesus. Yet people will search for it in their friends, in their work, at bars, in their spouses. And yet, none of those things can provide the kind of LOVE that is provided by Jesus. Reminder, it’s not that we loved Him but that He first Loved us. Once we realize the love God has given us, then the only thing we can do is say, THANK YOU to HIM!

Only in Christ Jesus do We Find the Perfect Love of God

~ And so once we come to grips with the truth of the gospel, not a perverted gospel, or a half gospel, but the fullness of the gospel, Christ died for us then so that razed from the dead he can live in us now. And when he came to live within his God is love and love came to live within us unconditional love for you, unconditional acceptance for you and for me. And when we when when that need is met, all other needs pale into insignificance. Because the greatest need that man has is to be loved and accepted unconditionally. We don’t recognize that, but that’s our greatest need.
