Abide in the Holy Spirit When He Lives in You

~ People want to be God today. They think they can keep themselves clean. They think they can produce good works. They think they can produce the fruit of the Spirit by the energy of their flesh. They still don’t have a clue of how Jesus really lived as the perfect Man of God. It’s important for us to understand that Jesus, being God in flesh, is also the Perfect Man of God too. And Jesus said he does NOTHING other than what the Father tells him to do. He also said, he says Nothing other than what the Father tells him to say. Yet today, people think they can be God themselves. There is nothing new under the sun. People think they can be righteous by keeping short accounts with God. People think they can be holy by doing or not doing something. They live under a misunderstanding of scripture today. They are still slaves to sin (unbelief). And it takes the Holy Spirit living in a person to show them ALL truth.

The Just Shall Live By Faith

~ When we receive Christ it is by faith. We place faith that Jesus took away our sins on the cross, and that he was raised from the dead so that he could place his Spirit into us, and raise us from the dead also. So once you are in Christ, and He is in you, Scripture tells us to live the same way, by Faith. God will do in and through you what you cannot do yourself. He begins to renew your mind immediately, because he makes you a new creature in Christ. The old is gone, and the new has come. Don’t let Satan or anyone else place you on the treadmill of grunting and groaning for Christ. It’s a lie. We learned yesterday that we can do NOTHING for Christ, Nothing. Faith is believing Truth and properly responding to Truth. Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. We are to be the same way today. Apart From Jesus You Can Do Nothing!

~ A simple statement in the word of God, yet most discount it. Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing.” Yet we pass over those words of God so quickly, because we want to do things our way. The word “Nothing” is very encompassing, yet people think they can do a little something for God. They think that they are basically okay, but every now and then when they sin, then they need God to take care of that sin. Or they think that once they are in Christ Jesus, that now they can begin to work for God as though they are some kind of “big deal” because of all the “good” things they do for God. Folks, when are we going to get it into our heads, that we can’t do anything good apart from Christ Jesus living in us and through us? All we can do is offer our bodies as a perfect sacrifice to God (Romans 12:1), to allow him to live his life in and through us. There is nothing else we can do for God. If You Are a Child of God, You are a Saint, NOT a Sinner!

~ Understanding our identity in Christ Jesus is paramount in our understanding of who we are in Christ Jesus and of how God sees us, as a saint, NOT a sinner. Satan loves to get a believer’s identity off of how God see us and instead focuses on the lies he has cooked up. A big lie today is that one is a sinner, even after coming to have the Holy Spirit live in you. Religion and Satan stroke that lie and that weakens the believer’s ability to live a Spirit controlled life. For if the believer constantly thinks of themselves as a sinner, then they are nothing more than a sinner saved by grace. There is no power in believing that lie. Satan will constantly point out your sinfulness and stroking the flesh. And the Holy Spirit is constantly telling us that God is no longer counting our sins against us. ~ Imagine talking directly with Jesus. Walking with Jesus. Listening to the very words spoken of by Jesus. Now remember this, the Holy Spirit that lives in us as believers is walking with Jesus everyday. We get to talk with Jesus at any moment of the day. We don’t have to walk up to the physical Jesus and ask Him questions. For His Spirit answers our questions before we even ask Him. For he knows what is coming. He knows what we need. He knows what we need to hear. He knows what we need to say. He knows all things and we live by faith from first to last. For he is our Life. He is our everything.
