Jesus Came to Give Life to the Dead

~ “The thief comes only that he might steal and might kill and might destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.” John 10:10

~ Salvation is when the Life of God, through His Holy Spirit of coming to live inside of you and the two become one. Your spirit is merged with His Spirit.

~ “But the one being joined to the Lord is one spirit.” 1 Corinthians 6:17

~ When a person is joined with God’s Spirit, they become a new creation in Christ Jesus.

~ “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, the new has come into being.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

~ Now, when a person is in Christ Jesus, and Christ is in them, they are to count themselves dead to sin. For sin no longer holds its power on them. For they have been freed from the power of sin, which is in the law, and now walk in His Life.

~ “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one abiding in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are able to do nothing.” John 15:5

Do we really believe Jesus, when He says, “Apart from Me you are able to do NOTHING?” Most don’t believe that, even in the so-called Christian world. Most actually think they can do something for God. And therein lies the problem. Believing in self. Believing that we can do something for God ourselves, apart from Him. People believe satan’s lies of “working for God,” or “soul winning for God,” or giving of tithes to a church (regardless of what a false church teaches) for more blessings from God. How much sense does any of that make? Think about it folks, God, the creator of Everything seen and unseen, and people believe they are going to do something for God. Yet that is where people camp today, thinking they are doing good works in the energy of the flesh. All our self efforts are as filthy rags to God. Abide in the Vine, Jesus God

~ “I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

~ Do we really believe this, or do we go out in the energy of the flesh and try to do things for Jesus, as though we can actually do something for Jesus? People give lip service to the Word of God. They really don’t believe that they can do NOTHING, apart from Jesus. Surely the satan (satan means adversary and opposer) whispers in our ears, “surely you can do something for God. After all, God certainly doesn’t expect you to not do anything…” And that is where satan sows to our flesh, and opposes TRUTH. For the flesh wants to make itself look good. It wants to puff itself up and say, “look what I am doing for God.” The flesh loves the accolades and the attention. Abide in the Holy Spirit When He Lives in You

~ People want to be God today. They think they can keep themselves clean. They think they can produce good works. They think they can produce the fruit of the Spirit by the energy of their flesh. They still don’t have a clue of how Jesus really lived as the perfect Man of God. It’s important for us to understand that Jesus, being God in flesh, is also the Perfect Man of God too. And Jesus said he does NOTHING other than what the Father tells him to do. He also said, he says Nothing other than what the Father tells him to say. Yet today, people think they can be God themselves. There is nothing new under the sun. People think they can be righteous by keeping short accounts with God. People think they can be holy by doing or not doing something. They live under a misunderstanding of scripture today. They are still slaves to sin (unbelief). And it takes the Holy Spirit living in a person to show them ALL truth.

Only by Faith in Jesus Not by Works

The Just Shall Live By Faith

~ When we receive Christ it is by faith. We place faith that Jesus took away our sins on the cross, and that he was raised from the dead so that he could place his Spirit into us, and raise us from the dead also. So once you are in Christ, and He is in you, Scripture tells us to live the same way, by Faith. God will do in and through you what you cannot do yourself. He begins to renew your mind immediately, because he makes you a new creature in Christ. The old is gone, and the new has come. Don’t let Satan or anyone else place you on the treadmill of grunting and groaning for Christ. It’s a lie. We learned yesterday that we can do NOTHING for Christ, Nothing. Faith is believing Truth and properly responding to Truth. Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. We are to be the same way today. And furthermore, because we live on this side of the cross, and the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, He will strengthen your faith. Apart From Jesus You Can Do Nothing!

~ A simple statement in the word of God, yet most discount it. Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing.” Yet we pass over those words of God so quickly, because we want to do things our way. The word “Nothing” is very encompassing, yet people think they can do a little something for God. They think that they are basically okay, but every now and then when they sin, then they need God to take care of that sin. Or they think that once they are in Christ Jesus, that now they can begin to work for God as though they are some kind of “big deal” because of all the “good” things they do for God. Folks, when are we going to get it into our heads, that we can’t do anything good apart from Christ Jesus living in us and through us? All we can do is offer our bodies as a perfect sacrifice to God (Romans 12:1), to allow him to live his life in and through us. There is nothing else we can do for God. NOTHING.
