The World’s Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

And so, from God’s vantage point, that’s where He cleansed all men, took away their sins, of the world. But you see my friends, we are still left with that sin of unbelief. All people are born into this world in unbelief. And so there’s only one sin, not to be forgiven, sins have already been forgiven, unbelief doesn’t need forgiving, it needs repented of. It needs changed. It would do you no good for God to say, hey unbeliever, I forgive you as an unbeliever. Because what are you? A forgiven unbeliever.

Just as a person’s physical growth is based on proper diet and exercise, so is the Christians’s spiritual growth dependent on regular feeding upon the word of God and application of its principles. Jesus is The Righteousness of God - Have Faith in Him

A Righteousness From God

And so the law has no purpose without the punishment for the violation. When a criminal is convicted and put into prison and punished, the law is upheld. If a prisoner is convicted of a crime and let go free, the law is not upheld. You’re not upholding the law. The only thing that upholds the law is where the punishment is executed, that is commensurate with the crime.

So Christ in the preaching of grace, of the grace of God, whereby Christ paid that price, not with some lamb out there, not the blood of bulls and goats, but Christ was the only time in all of history, where the law was not only fulfilled by his life, but it was upheld by his death. God’s Righteousness is Incorruptible!

The fantastic good news is that God’s righteousness is incorruptible. Note that we never had any righteousness to begin with. So, the very moment we are born again of the Spirit, God’s Spirit comes into us and gives us eternal life. At that very moment in time, we become clothed in the righteousness of God. When God looks at us (people that have been born again of the Spirit of God), He sees the righteousness of Jesus Christ. So when God looks at us, He sees the clothing of Christ Jesus.

³⁰ It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
