A Closer Look at The Truth About Prayer

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P1087 (11-21-25)

A Close Look at Prayer

~ And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets so that they might be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their recompense. But you when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father, the One in secret. And your Father, the One seeing in secret, will reward you.

And praying, do not use vain repetitions like the pagans, for they think that in their many words they will be heard.8Therefore do not be like to them, for your Father knows of what things you have need before your asking Him. Matthew 6:5-8

It is interesting, that Jesus tells us NOT to repeat things over and over again for prayer, yet that is the very thing that religion tells us to do. People vainly repeat the Lord’s prayer for example, without having a clue that prayer was actually answered at the cross. Yet that is seldom taught today. So take a closer look at Prayer today, to have a better understanding that Christ Jesus lives in and through you if you are in Christ and He is in you.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Trust in Jesus by Faith Not Law

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P49 (12-20-23)

God, Jesus Cannot Be Tempted Nor Does God Tempt Us

~ It is so important that we understand that God is never going to tempt us, it simply is not in His nature to do that. God cannot be tempted nor is he ever going to tempt anyone. Satan is the one that is tempts people. Jesus was not tempted by Satan. Yes Satan tempted him, but because Jesus is God, he could not be tempted by Satan. So, there are two important truths to understand here. Satan tempts us, because we are not God. Satan cannot tempt God no matter what, because Jesus is God. If you are being tempted today, it is because Satan is using the things of the world to tempt you in your flesh.

~ “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
