Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P456 (7-18-19)

Bob George Radio

Synopsis

Bob received calls from several callers, asking common questions asked in the world still today. Danny asked, “Do you believe in the Trinity?” John asked, “What does Romans 8:17 mean that ‘we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory’?” Sam essentially asked, “What about the person who has never had the opportunity to hear the gospel message?” You may have heard a similar question, “What about the heathen in Africa?” From the scriptures, Bob explains the Trinity, that God is the Father, God is the Son and God is the Holy Spirit but there is only one God; about the sufferings of Christians, that we do not look for suffering but sufferings will inevitably come, and that there is no person who has not heard but even if there was, we leave that decision to God, who will do what is right in accordance with who He is, a perfectly loving and just God.

Sam also asked a more specific question about the Muslim who has never heard, since he was just raised Muslim all his life. Bob shares the truth of the … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

A Humble Heart

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P441 (5-17-19)

Bob George RadioClarence called to express concern over so many false teachers on the airways. Marie called to say that she did not believe in “once saved, always saved” but then was unwilling to listen to truth. She did not call to learn but to preach. So Bob had to cut off the air and then explain the truth on eternal security in salvation to the listeners. Charles called to ask what is the sin of blasphemy. Bob explained what that is from scripture and further explained what God accomplished in sending his son Jesus to die on the cross to take away the sins of the entire world. Bob further explained that salvation is the receiving of life. Mark called to ask if you can lose your salvation. Bob first asked Mark to explain what he knew and then explained in detail what salvation is.  Salvation is being saved from the consequences of sin, which is death, by the gift of God, which is life. Elizabeth called to ask what it means to endure to he end. Bob asked her what she understood and then explained the simplicity of the gospel, appealing … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Classic Christianity – Bob George (12-17-18) Synoptic Gospels

Bob George TeachingBob George shares from the synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to provide insight into the greatest story ever told about the greatest man who ever lived. He shares insight from what God has revealed to men through eyewitnesses, those who walked and talked with Jesus. Indeed, Jesus is more than a man and a good teacher. He indeed is God in the flesh. He is three parts in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This concept, or doctrine, is often referred to as the Trinity. Bob shares an illustration in order to help explain the Trinity. There is so much information concerning Jesus. Not only do we have the reports of eyewitnesses but we have the writings of the prophets of the Old Testament. Did you know there are over 600 prophecies concerning the coming of the Messiah, and those prophecies were all fulfilled in Jesus Christ? It would be wise for people to look into these things more closely. Have you ever heard in a Christmas carol these words: “Oh come Emmanuel”? Do you know what that means? Emmanuel means God with us. Have you thought about the … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Classic Christianity – Book of John p13 (11-07-18)

Bob George TeachingWelcome to Class Christianity Radio with Bob George, the clear, timeliness teaching on the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus, that will transform your life as you learn about God’s amazing love. Let’s join Bob as he continues sharing through the book of John. Currently, we are studying John 5:19-30. Bob begins the lesson showing how modern day church organizations and denominations so often are not operating by the Spirit of God, with Jesus as the head, but as religious activities for God to bless. He presents several examples of religious activities and briefly retells the story of the religious Pharisees from yesterday’s sermon. He then re-explains the concept of the Trinity, with emphasis of how Jesus lived on earth in total dependence on His Father. Bob then further explains the function of the Holy Spirit in a believer. He particularly focuses on the role of the Holy Spirit as counselor, to help a believer to identify error in thinking, and replace such error with truth. Bob then further explains man’s most basic problem is not that he is a sinner, but that he is spiritually dead and in need of … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
