You Were Born Forgiven

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P799 (01-12-23)

You Are a Forgiven Person ~ Jesus Forgave You at The Cross!

~ Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. Hebrews 10:17,18

~ “Well, once again, Andrew is look at what preceded that. Again, what is preceded it? In chapter 10. You’re talking about the new covenant? And what is the New Covenant? I’ll put my laws in their hearts. Those are the laws of Jesus, not the law of Moses, and I’ll write them on their minds and their sins and lawless acts, I will remember no more. And where these have been forgiven, not will be have been forgiven. There’s no longer any sacrifice for sins. Now, do we not know that, without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. And there’s no more shedding of blood there’s no more sacrifice. Now, if we deliberately keep on sinning after we receive this knowledge of truth, what are we sinning against? The knowledge of truth. What knowledge of truth? The knowledge of truth that was just expressed about five verses earlier, that their sins of lawless acts, I will remember no more.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Saved by Life

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P770 (09-15-22)

God Reconciled ALL things to Himself Through Christ Jesus ~ We Are Saved by The Life of Jesus, Not His Death

~ “For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” Colossians 1:19-20

When a person becomes born again of the Holy Spirit of God, by faith in Jesus, God in the flesh and what He did on the cross for you personally, having completely forgiven you, the Holy Spirit baptizes (places you into) you into the body of Christ. You are now a new creature in Christ Jesus.

“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Below is an excerpt from the book “What About …? 1 John 1:9”

“Any good theologian will tell you that it’s intellectual suicide to build an entire doctrine around one verse of scripture. But that’s exactly what we have done with 1 John 1:9. Nowhere else in the New Testament, from the cross on, is the concept of asking God’s forgiveness mentioned. The Apostle Paul never broached the subject. He didn’t have too.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

In Christ Jesus We are Saints

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P763 (08-25-22)

All Those In Christ Jesus Are Part of The Holy Priesthood Called Saints

~ It’s so important to understand our identity in Christ Jesus. The error in teaching out there in the religious world has people brainwashed into believing the lies of Satan in regards to churches having priests and fathers over the people. Yet we are told in scripture that we are not to call anyone “father” as far as it relates to religion, for there is only one Father and He is in heaven. In addition to that, people don’t have a clue, that if you have been born again of the Spirit of God, and the Holy Spirit lives in you, then you are declared a Saint by God. You are not a saint because of what you do or what you don’t do. No one will be declared righteous before God based on their works. Listen in as Bob shares truth from the word of God.

Matthew 23:9
“And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.”

1 Corinthians 1:2
“Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:”

Forgiveness Does Not Produce Life

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P762 (08-19-22)

Forgiveness Does Not Bring Life, Only Life Brings Life to the Dead

~ There are folks that teach that everyone will be saved in the end. If that were the case, then you could throw away the entire Bible. You could ignore all the verses of scripture that teach us to believe in Christ Jesus to be saved. Yet people, mainly due to a confusion in understanding of what salvation is (Life), and they think salvation is getting their sins forgiven. They equate forgiveness with life, instead of understanding that Life, the Holy Spirit is given to a person when they accept Jesus and what He did for them on the cross. Many refuse to come to faith in Jesus, and thus are not saved. God does not force people to accept Him for salvation.

Convict the World of Unbelief in Jesus

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ P03 (03-16-22)

The World’s Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

And so, from God’s vantage point, that’s where He cleansed all men, took away their sins, of the world. But you see my friends, we are still left with that sin of unbelief. All people are born into this world in unbelief. And so there’s only one sin, not to be forgiven, sins have already been forgiven, unbelief doesn’t need forgiving, it needs repented of. It needs changed. It would do you no good for God to say, hey unbeliever, I forgive you as an unbeliever. Because what are you? A forgiven unbeliever.

Just as a person’s physical growth is based on proper diet and exercise, so is the Christians’s spiritual growth dependent on regular feeding upon the word of God and application of its principles. With more false teaching, shifting opinions and general confusion in the world than ever before, Christians need a solid foundation upon which to base their beliefs and build their lives. The word of God declares that Jesus Christ is that foundation of truth. With that in mind, let’s now take A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
