Tithing is Not in The New Covenant ~ Quit Trying to Live Under Old Covenant Law

~ Tithing is Old Testament. It was what the Hebrews were to do to set them apart and to support the Levitical priesthood, which was only to Israel. Has nothing to do with the church. It had to do with Israel. When there have been a Bible in the New Testament, it says where there’s a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. That I hope that you’re not under the Levite priesthood. So in as much as there has been a change in the priesthood, Christ, Jesus is your priest. There has to be a change to the law, including tithing. And that’s why Paul devoted two chapters in Corinthians to freewill giving, to give joyfully to get to excel in the grace of giving, not the law of giving the grace of giving. ~ It’s so important to understand our identity in Christ Jesus. The error in teaching out there in the religious world has people brainwashed into believing the lies of Satan in regards to churches having priests and fathers over the people. Yet we are told in scripture that we are not to call anyone “father” as far as it relates to religion, for there is only one Father and He is in heaven. In addition to that, people don’t have a clue, that if you have been born again of the Spirit of God, and the Holy Spirit lives in you, then you are declared a Saint by God. Synopsis

What is the purpose of the book of Hebrews? Have you ever heard a sermon on it? It is so valuable to understand the New Covenant we are living under today. Oftentimes the only passage people have heard about from Hebrews are Hebrews 6:4, and without understanding the entire context of what the author of Hebrews is writing about, people get all fearful that they are deliberately sinning, meaning they have committed one of the nasty nine or one of the dirty dozen, that they are going to be cast into a raging fire. So what do people do? They pull out their 1 John 1:9 and ask God to forgive them of their sins.
