Propitiation - Jesus Took Away the Sins of the World

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P16 (09-13-21)

The Godhead Agreed on How to Restore Mankind Back to Life; Propitiation Took Place

Have you ever been tempted to sin? Have you been ensnared and trapped in sin? If we do not guard our hearts, Satan has a way of deceiving us, and it starts out small and innocent enough, and we rationalize it away, then before long you are ensnared. Many a person has stolen money from a college, a business or a ministry and then found themselves in a debt they cannot pay. They try to keep that hidden but are eventually found out. So there is a predicament that occurs for all parties involved and affected, and a solution has to be worked out, for that debt has to be paid.

There was a story of a young man who lied about having obtained his degree, but he failed his last course in college. He had already been offered a job in lieu of getting a college degree. He assumed that he would have his degree until this happened. He has already been hired and is working for this company for some … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

The Forgiveness of Sins Has Been Done Once and For All and In Him You have Forgiveness of Sins and Are Made Complete in Christ Jesus

How is that two people can both hear the same message concerning Christ, and one will become born again and another not? Recall what Jesus told in the parable of the farmer who sowed his seed (Mark 4:1-25). As you read the scriptures, such as Hebrews, what is your attitude of heart? Do you read it with a filter on, as if only a priest can explain the meaning of it to you? Or are you reading it for answers to the meaning and purpose of life, that if I do not understand what this means, I will not be made alive or able to live? Are you reading it that if God Himself does not explain the meaning to me, I will not know what it means? Where is the condition of your heart, is it hard towards God or is it soft and pliable? Are you a child of God, having the Spirit of God living in you, … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Man Needed Reconciliation to God with Sins Forgiven but Also Restoration with God, with Eternal Life, Being Made Complete in Christ Jesus

There are many people who say they got saved when they were young, but later in life had doubts. A simple question to ask, “What was your understanding of the gospel?” When Bob George asked people that question, he says that nine times out of ten a person will respond that the gospel is getting your sins forgiven. That in itself is not the gospel. It is a necessary preparation for the gospel to be given. So what is the gospel, the message of good news in Christ Jesus?

Jesus came to take away the sins of the world, and that is how man’s sins have been forgiven. There was a means in the Old Testament to get your sins forgiven, and it involved the shedding of blood of an animal, but it had to be repeated year after year, and could never take away sins. It could make a person conscious of sin. Under such a system of law, there were these rules … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Came to Take Away The Sins of The World on The Cross

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P13 (09-06-21)

Who Is Jesus and for What Reason Did He Die on a Cross Only To Rise Again?

As you think about the fact that our calendar dates have B.C., before Christ, and A.D., Anum Domini, the year of our Lord, you have to conclude there is something significant about a person named Jesus of Nazareth and being identified as Christ or Messiah. Even though the world focuses so much on the birth of Christ, God views the world from the perspective of before the cross and after the cross, the true dividing line of human history. But we do know, just from the calendar, that Jesus was a historical person, who was born into this world, so the whole world must know he existed. To be referenced on our calendars, then he must have accomplished something. What is significant and unique about this person, Christ Jesus?

We come to understand that He is God in the flesh, as all the apostles testified and were eyewitnesses of all He said and did, and witnessed his death, burial and resurrection from the dead. And who has ever seen … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

The Effect of Christ Alive Living in You

Has the grace of God reached your heart? Have you understood that He not only loves you unconditionally but He accepts you unconditionally? If you were destitute and homeless, living out of a dumpster, strung out on drugs, have you ever seen someone look at you with pure love in their eyes toward you and just said nothing. Maybe that was your mother, who was just longing for you to come home. Her eyes just drew you in. She just accepts me. She is not looking down at me with disgust. You knew she was going somewhere, so you asked her where she was going? She was going to a bible conference to hear someone speak. Knowing his mother loved him, and knowing it was dangerous to go out alone at night, he asked to go with her. So he sat on the front row and he heard a message of God’s forgiveness and love. Upon hearing that message, the truth of who God is, His total forgiveness and complete love for him, just melted his heart that … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

God’s Marvelous Plan of Giving His Life to You

The world is often resistant to hearing truth. Why is that? Do they not think that you really care about them personally, so they do not care what you have to say? Is it the way the truth is presented? Do they think you are self-righteous in what you are saying? Do they feel like they are talked down to? Is their mind already made up as to what they think truth is, so they are not open to hearing? Those that do hear the gospel, do not recognize it as the message of good news. Yet, even with all those barriers, those that do hear, often hear half a gospel. At least there is some information to prepare the ground for later truth to be revealed. Sadly, many a person thinks the gospel is getting your sins forgiven. They stop at the cross but fail to go on to the empty tomb, where resurrected life is.

Jesus came to solve a very practical problem of mankind. Man is dead already in his trespasses and sins, due … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
