Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P2 (11-10-21)

The Fullness of the Gospel in all its Truth.

Many people have grown in some sort of religious upbringing, whether Muslim, Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, or whatever it may be. But even if you have not, the celebration of the birth of Christ is a well known holiday throughout the world. You have probably heard about a man named Jesus of Nazareth who died, was buried and rose again. Even on our calendars is written B.C., meaning before Christ was born, and A.D., meaning the day of our Lord. So, the fact that he was born into this world is a well known indisputable fact. And, there is evidence that he lived, died and was buried. There are even eyewitnesses who testified of his resurrection from the dead. But do you know why a person named Jesus came into this world? If you were asked, “What is the meaning of the cross?”, how would you respond? If you were asked, “What is the meaning of the resurrection?”, what would you say?

The Effect of Christ Alive Living in You

Has the grace of God reached your heart? Have you understood that He not only loves you unconditionally but He accepts you unconditionally? If you were destitute and homeless, living out of a dumpster, strung out on drugs, have you ever seen someone look at you with pure love in their eyes toward you and just said nothing. Maybe that was your mother, who was just longing for you to come home. Her eyes just drew you in. She just accepts me. She is not looking down at me with disgust. You knew she was going somewhere, so you asked her where she was going? She was going to a bible conference to hear someone speak. Knowing his mother loved him, and knowing it was dangerous to go out alone at night, he asked to go with her. So he sat on the front row and he heard a message of God’s forgiveness and love. Upon hearing that message, the truth of who God is, His total forgiveness and complete love for him, just melted his heart that … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Has Forgiven You Completely

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The New Covenant P24 (07-19-21)

Quit Sinning Against the Knowledge of Truth!

As Bob has said numerous times, all of us have been taught error from various denominational persuasions of men. The scripture that continually comes up in certain circles of Christendom is in Hebrews 10:26-31. People often think that to mean that if I do those dirty dozen or those nasty nine sins, deliberately, then I am going to hell. Many get fearful of this passage because they do not have proper understanding, because they do not understand what Jesus accomplished at the cross. People should be fearful, if they are sinning against the knowledge of the truth and after receiving the knowledge of the truth. The truth is people do not understand or realize he is talking about the sin of unbelief. He is talking about sinning against the knowledge of truth.

Now, if someone understands the truth, but deliberately and stubbornly says, “I do not care” and I am going back to the day of atonement or to my confessional booth to a priest to get my sins forgiven or as a Protestant quoting 1 John 1:9 to keep short … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Faith That Pleases God - Jesus

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The New Covenant P20 (07-07-21)

Synopsis

Have you understood what faith is? Faith must have an object. It is more than an intellectual assent to facts or some sort of faith in some mystery, that nobody knows what that mystery is. I can know that Abraham Lincoln died in Ford’s theater and by believing that, that does not have any impact on my life. I can even go to church, thinking that if I go to church then somehow God will accept me, or my good deeds will outweigh my bad. I can think that I can get all my sins confessed that built up during the week off my chest. I could be doing that whether I was going to a Catholic mass or even sitting in my own bedroom quoting 1 John 1:9, but all the while wondering if I missed confessing some sin. I could even think that I came to Jesus to get all my sins forgiven, and then still doing those confessing of sins as well. So it could be I did not have a proper understanding of the complete gospel in Christ Jesus. All of that is … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
