God Cleansed You of All Unrighteousness at the Cross so He Could Place His Holy Spirit in You Now

~ God Transforms You Into a Child of the Living God Through Faith in Jesus Christ, Not by Works of the Law. He Cleansed You of All Unrighteousness at the Cross, so He Could Place His Holy Spirit in You Now and Seals You Eternally in Him.

~ “So first, John one nine is not a passage to a believer, because if I have to keep being confessed or keep being cleansed of all of my unrighteousness then I’m standing in my own righteousness to begin with. In other words, I have his righteousness, but then I have my unrighteousness. So I got to be cleansed again of my unrighteousness. Well, that doesn’t make any sense because I never did stand in my righteousness to begin with. So I never had righteousness except his and he doesn’t need cleansed of unrighteousness. So I’m not standing in mine. And if I’m not standing in mine, as a saved person, then what I need to be cleansed from anymore? I had to be cleansed once and for all at the cross, in order to be indwelt by him in his life, and his righteousness.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Has Forgiven You of All Your Sins ~ Past Action at the Cross

~ “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Hebrews 9:22

~ “This lesson deals with what the law is powerless to do, it can’t make one perfect in the sight of God. In other words, complete in the sight of God. It cannot make one righteous in the sight of God and the law cannot give life to the dead. So three pretty important issues who says the law cannot do. We talked about that, when you’re talking about this area of the law, it says the former regulation was set aside because it was weak, it was useless. And another place it said it’s powerless. For the law made nothing perfect and a better hope is introduced by which we draw near to God. The whole goal of this is God’s desire that we draw near to Him. It was God so loved the world that He gave His Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

“Any good theologian will tell you that it’s intellectual suicide to build an entire doctrine around one verse of scripture. But that’s exactly what we have done with 1 John 1:9. Nowhere else in the New Testament, from the cross on, is the concept of asking God’s forgiveness mentioned. The Apostle Paul never broached the subject. He didn’t have too. He stood firm in the fact that he was a forgiven person and that those to whom he wrote were forgiven people.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

We Have Been Reconciled to God – Reconciliation Happened One Time, At The Cross

The problem with today is that people do not understand the New Covenant. It is seldom taught. People don’t even understand what the term reconciled to God means. We are not saved by the death of Jesus on the cross, we are saved by the Life of Jesus coming to live in you and me, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us when we place faith in Jesus. It is so vitally important that we understand this. Listen in as Bob explains in detail the heart of the gospel.

Just as a person’s physical growth is based on proper diet and exercise, so is the Christians’s spiritual growth dependent on regular feeding upon the word of God and application of its principles. With more false teaching, shifting opinions and general confusion in the world than ever before, Christians need a solid foundation upon which to base their beliefs and build their lives.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus is The Righteousness of God - Have Faith in Him

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ P38 (06-07-22)

We Live in the Righteousness of Jesus Christ Our Lord – Not Our Own

People are out there trying to improve upon what God has already done. They are not living by faith, but are in fact insulting God by trying to do what He said only He could and did do for those who are in Christ Jesus.

‘For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”’ Romans 1:17

We don’t live in our own righteousness because we never had any righteousness to begin with. Rest in His Righteousness today.
