There Remains a Sabbath-rest for the People of God

~ The teaching from the Book of Hebrews is for Everyone, Not just the Hebrews of yesteryear. Yet hardly anyone teaches the book of Hebrews today. And those that do teach it, teach it with major errors throughout the book. The main reason is very few actually understand it and teach it correctly from the pulpit, because quite honestly most are not saved, and that includes the teachers themselves. And if you haven’t figured that out by now, that most pastors and teachers in brick and mortar churches as well as online churches are actually teaching lies, then there might be a good chance you yourself are not saved either. For discernment comes from the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit makes it known what the word of God means, its True meaning, to the child of God. And yet there are so many people today that will listen to liars left and right, that still don’t understand the sabbath rest we are under. And the people themselves are disobedient to the truth, for they refuse to obey it. God, Jesus Cannot Be Tempted Nor Does God Tempt Us

~ It is so important that we understand that God is never going to tempt us, it simply is not in His nature to do that. God cannot be tempted nor is he ever going to tempt anyone. Satan is the one that is tempts people. Jesus was not tempted by Satan. Yes Satan tempted him, but because Jesus is God, he could not be tempted by Satan. So, there are two important truths to understand here. Satan tempts us, because we are not God. Satan cannot tempt God no matter what, because Jesus is God. If you are being tempted today, it is because Satan is using the things of the world to tempt you in your flesh.

Jesus is The Truth Setting You Free

Are You Being Programmed by God or Satan and the World?

~ Most people think that they are being programmed by their own self. But here is the key, if a person is not in Christ they are actually constantly being programmed totally by Satan and the things of the world. For Satan uses the things of the world to brainwash people into believing the lies of his. For example, all television, news, sports, movies, television shows are programming a person’s mind to the lies of the world. And if you think television is bad, social media and the things people share are even worse. Because people are giving credibility to demons left and right and are in idolatry with people, places and things of the world. They love the teaching of men more than they love the truth of the word of God. People don’t notice it because that is what is normal to them. But until a person comes to Christ Jesus, their mind cannot be renewed by Truth. For only God is Truth.

Jesus Brought a Sword of His Word

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P47 (12-18-23)

For the Word of God is Alive and Active Sharper Than Any Double-Edged Sword

~ The word of God penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all of creation is hidden from God’s sight. God knows our thoughts. God knows everything about us. Nothing is hidden from him. He knows our needs. Many times though we confuse the needs of the flesh with the needs of the spirit and the the needs of the soul. We allow Satan to program us instead of God. We need to allow God to renew our mind so that we are programmed by the Holy Spirit instead of Satan and the world. And we need to be reminded of this time and time again. God needs to renew our mind.

Will Jesus Find Faith on the Earth

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P46 (12-13-23)

Jesus Declared, “This is a Wicked Generation.”

~ If the generation was wicked when Jesus, God in flesh was standing right in front of people, imagine how wicked this current generation is. People are still looking for all kinds of signs. And Jesus even told of his return and that he would deal quickly with things, but would he find faith upon the earth? Jesus said, “I tell you, He will promptly carry out justice on their behalf. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” Luke 18:8

Folks, the issue today is faith. Faith from first to last. Most people fail to exercise faith. They hear Truth, and it goes in one ear and out the other. Truth: Your sins have been forgiven. Truth: God is no longer counting your sins against you. Truth: Noah and the whole world flood was real. Truth: Lot was real and Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. Truth: Jonah was swallowed by a big fish and was a sign to the Ninevites. Truth: Jesus was raised from the dead after three days and three nights.

Days of Noah Days of Lot

Pay Attention to Details, “As in the Days of Noah”

~ We are told to pay attention to the details in the word of God. Not only did Jesus speak of Noah and Lot being actual people, he also gave us clear instruction as to what to expect when he returns. Folks, it’s not a pretty sight. For don’t forget those outside the ark were swept away. Some of you might get a little squeamish on the details, but that is why we actually need to pay attention to the details. Jesus gave this information for us to be aware of. We are not to throw away specific verses that don’t make us feel good. Because that is the flesh talking. And Satan wants you to focus on the flesh. The flesh always wants to feel good, even when a person is in Christ Jesus, we sometimes want to dismiss the clear cut truth of the word of God. But the Holy Spirit wants each of us to pay attention to the details, and don’t trust any man’s interpenetration of the word of God, but on everything take it to the Holy Spirit is He is indeed alive living in you.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
