For the Word of God is Alive and Active Sharper Than Any Double-Edged Sword

~ The word of God penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all of creation is hidden from God’s sight. God knows our thoughts. God knows everything about us. Nothing is hidden from him. He knows our needs. Many times though we confuse the needs of the flesh with the needs of the spirit and the the needs of the soul. We allow Satan to program us instead of God. We need to allow God to renew our mind so that we are programmed by the Holy Spirit instead of Satan and the world. And we need to be reminded of this time and time again. God needs to renew our mind.

The Law Brought Death ~ Jesus Brings Eternal Life to All Who Place Faith in Him

~ Many today practice law keeping, as though they think they can actually keep the law. They are only fooling themselves, and puffing themselves up, thinking they are better than someone else out there. Those that think they can keep the law are not saved, because the law has not done its work in them. For the law has not lead them to Christ Jesus yet. People need to understand the stringency of law keeping, for if you break any part, ANY PART, of the law, from day you are born till the day you die, you will die dead. They will not have the Holy Spirit living in them to give them eternal life. If the law has done its job, it would have shown a person the fact that they are dead and in need of Jesus for life. Only by placing faith in Jesus will a person have eternal life. Nothing else will do. Eternal Life is Found in Christ Jesus

~ “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:11-13

“But now he’s introducing to us the fact of eternal life in Christ Jesus, that this is the record that God has given us eternal life. And this life is any Son, and who has the Son has life. And who does not have the Son of God does not have life. It’s a cut and dried situation, folks, it’s, it’s not even a religion. It’s an extremely practical thing that God did for us. He says, if you need life, then you’re dead. And until we see our spiritual death, why would we ever come to him for spiritual life? If we’re not hungry, why would we come to Him for bread? For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. The Law Cannot Give You Life ~ Only Jesus Can Give Life!

~ “Now, here’s the good news. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Because through Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of Life, set me free from the law of sin and death. Under the law, the wages of sin is death. And the gift of God is life. There was no human solution to that, folks, there was only a godly solution, and that is through the only one who could give you and me life and that’s Christ Jesus. Why? verse three For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature. What was the law powerless to do? We talked about that a couple of weeks ago, it was powerless to bring life. If life could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing. It was powerless to bring righteousness to a person. Those In Christ Jesus Have Been Set Free From the Law of Sin and Death!

~ “I don’t think there’s a more important thing for us to get a grasp on Bob than what we’re talking about right now. Because it’s the thing that causes the conflict and people sitting bound, doubting their salvation and everything else. And especially with teaching that sometimes takes place that if you’re truly born again, why you’ll never sin again, and you’ll never have a experience a desire to sin again, and all that type of thing, which is just utter nonsense. And so what you’re what you are dealing with folks, is the fact that we are left with these bodies of ours, with something called indwelling sin living in these bodies of ours, it’s no longer I, And who am I?
