Do You Understand What the Word of God Means?

Sometimes as a Christian, we can get frustrated with others or even angry that others do not understand the Word of God as it relates to their living or wanting to do things that are contradictory to the clear teaching of the word of God. Many times, people that we think (assume) are Christians are not Christians, and that is why they do not understand the word of God. They have not been sanctified by the Truth yet. They are not born again believers in Christ Jesus.

Now from our standpoint (those of us who are born again) we get angry with some of those that we may be very close to, and it is because of the fear that creeps into our own being. We react in fear, and lash out in anger, even if it is held inside ourselves when someone doesn’t get what you yourself know is Truth. There are so many times where only a portion of the gospel is given today, or simply a piece of truth and not the whole truth. People hear that their sins are forgiven, but if they do this or do that they can get more forgiveness by God. Even the scriptures are taught out of context, to the point that most people do not rightly divide truth. So it is with forgiveness. Jesus said it is finished, everything He did on the cross, and when He comes again, He is not coming to deal with sin again.

You Must be Born Again

Are You Born Again of The Holy Spirit? Understanding the New Covenant

So many people today want to argue with the truth about the New Covenant. They still act like they are living under an old Covenant, and they will get mad as a hornet if you try and share the truth of the New Covenant with them. They will argue till they are blue in the face, justifying their own belief system and remain in error.

A person must be born again of the Holy Spirit of God in order to be saved. Salvation is Life, the Life of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit coming to live in a person when they receive Jesus, God in flesh and what He did on the cross for them by faith. This is not faith in your faith, but faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross for you.
