Have Your Mind Renewed – Not Altered

For many years, Bob George the creator and host of People to People, a daily radio broadcast, connected with listeners across the continent on his live, daily radio broadcast, Bob offered real answers for real life as he addressed common questions as well as the tough issues of today, directing callers to the centrality of “Christ in you, your only hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

These calls are just as relevant today as they were yesterday. Listen in as Bob teaches truth from the word of God.

2 Timothy 4:3
3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

The first caller, Vinny called from Pitcairn Pennsylvania. He had a question about people teaching positive thinking from a Christian perspective. Bob sets the record straight on this and points out that these people are liars. Jesus doesn’t teach about positive or negative thinking. Jesus talks about correct thinking. People that teach this positive thinking message, leave Jesus out of the message.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

In Christ Jesus We are Saints

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P14 (12-15-21)

When You Are In Christ Jesus, You Are A New Creation! A Saint!

Grab a hold of your identity in Christ Jesus. When Jesus makes you a new creation, He makes you a saint. You can never be a sinner again. As Bob tells it, you are a new butterfly, quit believing you are a worm.

John 15:5
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

So now, we abide in Christ Jesus. If you have Christ living in you, you are now a brand new person. You are a SAINT. You are no longer a sinner. Understand that you are no longer a sinner. God sees you as a saint. He sees you as a child of God. We need to see ourselves as He sees us!

1 John 4:10 (KJV)
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Jesus took away the wrath of God for our sins.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

When The Holy Spirit Teaches You Truth – You Got It

Bob George Ministries has a number of Closer Look Bible studies that go well together. A Closer Look at The Finality of the Cross goes hand in hand with the study of A Closer Look at the Reality of the Resurrection. We strongly encourage anyone to go back and study the Closer Look at the Finality of the Cross on your own. Order your Closer Look bible studies today. That will help in your understanding of the reality of the resurrection.

Scripture tells us that some went from us because they were never a part of us. They never had the Holy Spirit alive living in them.

1 John 2:19
19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

We get it in our heads many times and put people on a pedestal. Yet even the Apostle Paul points out that we should not be focused on the messenger, but rather on being taught by the Holy Spirit and the word of God.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Has Given Us Freedom

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P12 (12-13-21)

God Makes a Believer a New Creation in Christ Jesus

God made man to be indwelt by God. He did not make man to be separated from God, but to have the Holy Spirit giving life to us. For when we come to Jesus, God in flesh, and place faith in Him, he exchanges our dead self and gives us His exchanged life in us. So that, it is no longer I that live but Christ (the one that gives life) lives in me.

Now we should realize and be basking in the fact that Jesus has taken all our sins away on the cross. All our sins were judged on the cross and the verdict was death. The wages of sin is death. It was not out of fellowship, but death!

But now, in Christ Jesus we have Life!

Galatians 2:20
20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Jesus is Head of the Church

Context is Important for Proper Understanding of the Word of God

Context of scripture is key to understanding the Word of God. We are all guilty at times for glossing over key parts of the bible and tend to base our analysis of a verse of scripture here or there, based on our own understanding or those traditions that have been taught to us by other men. Bob George would say repeatedly, “don’t believe what I say, but check it out for yourself in the word of God.” He emphasized that he could be saying something wrong himself and to be a Berean and go back and verify things. Ultimately, trust in the Holy Spirit to teach you the meaning of the word of God.

First off, it is important to understand that the Apostle Paul was an Israelite. We tend to overlook the obvious so many times in scripture. So when Paul speaks of two different groups of people he is speaking in terms of the Israelites of being under the Old Covenant, and now Gentiles and Israelites in the New Covenant as one group of people. We are all one in Christ Jesus, the Church, the Ekklesia, under the New Covenant of Grace.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

How to Live by Faith

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P693 (12-09-21)

How to Live by Faith

We often hear stories that when a person comes to Christ Jesus, and becomes a believer, that everything will be peaches and cream in their life. There are people that will teach you all kinds of lies in regards to worldly wealth or think and grow rich, as though Jesus is the name it and claim it, the go to God for everything in this life to be happy, wealthy and wise, and everyone will just love you for being a Christian. However, if a person is a witness for Christ Jesus, they may face persecution from the world. But fear not, for Jesus who is alive living in you, is greater than he that is in the world.

The first caller, Bob called from Denver Colorado. He became a Christian and lost all of his secular friends. He also lost a job, due to timing issues. He was feeling a bit down and wanted to be pointed in the right direction with some scripture verses.

Bob George shares some key verses of scripture and points to Truth.

John 16:33
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.
