God is NOT a Forgiveness Vending Machine

People love their sacred cows. In fact, they worship their sacred idols left and right, because it makes them “FEEL GOOD.” People will justify doing and promoting all kinds of things today, from their weekly ritual of listening to some pastor that they know is teaching wrong in the main area of scripture as it relates to forgiveness, but they will say, “well he is teaching good in other areas” as though someone talking against sinning is a measurement of good or not, to other areas of teaching regarding the things of the world. You can see it based on their social media posts, where they will constantly promote one of Satan’s agents of righteousness, or their human saviors for mankind in the high tech world. They justify all of this, because after all, hardly any pastor or teacher online teaches the truth as far as forgiveness is concerned by God, so they say to themselves, I’m still going to listen to this man or that woman teach on other matters. Jesus is Superior and Above Everything

As we continue in our study of the book of Hebrews, be prepared for some sacred cows to fall. In essence, many people have been taught wrong as it pertains to the New Covenant, and this study of the book of Hebrews, God will use it to teach a person Truth as it applies to the word of God. Don’t lean on your own understanding of things. Don’t lean on your traditions. Don’t lean on the teaching of man. But in everything take it to God in prayer and be taught by the Holy Spirit. Once you are taught by the Holy Spirit of God, you will not be swayed easily by the teaching of man and traditions. But if you are not willing to be taught by the Holy Spirit, then the teaching will be hard to hear because you will be trusting your flesh instead of the Holy Spirit of God. And today there is much error in teaching the word of God going on today, that it is difficult to discern what is true and what is false. ~ People today will NOT endure sound doctrine. They bring up to themselves false teachers and liars of TRUTH, and listen to what their itching ears want to hear. It doesn’t matter what the topic is today, if a person cannot understand the Truth that their sins were forgiven at the cross, then everything else will be off the rails. They will have a crash, and it will occur sooner or later. The pride of self in their own understanding of the word of God, instead of hearing the truth directly from the Word of God, and having the Holy Spirit teach them ALL truth, is it any wonder to suspect many of these people are NOT saved? Most have not truly repented to the Truth. They give lip service to it. They search the scriptures front to back, thinking that somehow if they get more scriptures in them they will have eternal life, and they miss Jesus and what He did for them at the cross. Salvation is Receiving the Resurrected Life of Christ Jesus

~ When a person places faith in Jesus for salvation, they are not simply placing faith in a historical figure. For most people actually believe that Jesus was a real person in history, but they don’t know that he was God in the flesh that took away their sins at the cross. Or they give lip service to that. And simply believing in a historical person won’t save a person either. Only by hearing the Truth of the Word of God can a person be saved from death to LIFE. Jesus is God in the flesh. He forgave ALL your sins at the cross. Now place faith in Him and what He and He alone did for you personally at the cross. When you place faith in the TRUTH of the Word of God, His Spirit comes to live inside you and give you eternal life. And a reminder, Eternal Life is ETERNAL.

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

The Book of Hebrews Explains Forgiveness Was Finished at The Cross

Today, people are holding on to their traditions instead of trusting in the word of God. People have grown up Catholic, or Protestant, Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist and on and on it goes, and they are trusting in their traditions taught by men. And here is the thing, most traditions are lies, continually sold by Satan in order to convince people that they are saved through their traditions, or coming down an aisle to “get their sins forgiven.” They refuse to hear truth today, spoken to them by the Holy Spirit. Because after all, they have their favorite pastor or teacher that teaches their other favorite pet sin to get on the bandwagon to condemn it, all the while ignoring the biggest sin of all time, unbelief in the finished work of Jesus Christ. It’s the sin that so easily entangle a person. For they do not see it for what it is. They are calling God a liar by word and deed. The New Covenant ~ Book of Hebrews

We are beginning a new study in the book of Hebrews today. This is a key book for understanding the New Covenant and how to live under that same New Covenant by faith. Over the next number of months we will be going into great detail on this book, and how it pertains to our life today. Most pastors and teachers seldom teach out of the book of Hebrews because quite frankly they themselves do not understand the New Covenant we live under today. Most likely, they don’t understand it, because they themselves do not have the Holy Spirit living in them to guide them in ALL truth. They give lip service to the word of God and gloss over key points within the book itself.

If you are in Christ, and Christ is in you, then Jesus is speaking directly to you today through His Spirit living in you. Remember that key point, and to trust in Him to teach you All Truth from the word of God. Are you listening to Him?
