Jesus is Our Wisdom

There Aren’t Any Big Deals, There’s Just a Big God

~ Pride is a factor that can easily be exploited in any one of us. Pride lives in our flesh. Pride says, “I want to be number one.” It’s the same thing that is coveting. In fact, it’s the one sin that is hardly ever mentioned by any pastors and teachers today. And the reason is, because we all covet. And those who are in Christ Jesus can see it rear its ugly head in themselves and it is quite obvious in others. The self righteous people proudly say, “I’ve repented of all my sins.” No they haven’t. They haven’t repented of the sin of lying or coveting. No one has ever repented of all of their sins. And those that think they have, are proud of their acting like they have. For it puffs them up. “Look how good I am God. Look at me, I don’t do this or I don’t do that.” These people are only fooling themselves. They are lying to themselves and others. They are not walking in Truth. They think they can be just like God. And they are so proud of their efforts too.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Salvation is Not by Works

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P870 (09-15-23)

How Do We Know We Are Saved? What is the Gospel That Saves?

~ So many people today are confused as to what even is the true gospel that saves a person. Many people have added to the gospel that truly saves. There are so many false teachers on television, radio and the Internet, that are preaching a different gospel than the ONE gospel that saves a person. And one of the most twisted deceptions that Satan has thrown at the world are ALL the different false gospel messages, that makes many people believe they are saved when they are not. For most people, when you talk with them, don’t even understand what salvation is. Most people falsely believe that salvation is when they get their sins forgiven, based on their asking God to forgive them. They don’t realize that God has already forgiven them at the cross, and that God is NOT counting anyone’s sins against them today. And there is only one sin that needs to be repented of (a change of mind), of the person and work of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, who took upon himself the sins of the world (which includes your sins and my sins too).… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Law Shows Your Sin

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P869 (09-14-23)

The Law Brought Death ~ Jesus Brings Eternal Life to All Who Place Faith in Him

~ Many today practice law keeping, as though they think they can actually keep the law. They are only fooling themselves, and puffing themselves up, thinking they are better than someone else out there. Those that think they can keep the law are not saved, because the law has not done its work in them. For the law has not lead them to Christ Jesus yet. People need to understand the stringency of law keeping, for if you break any part, ANY PART, of the law, from day you are born till the day you die, you will die dead. They will not have the Holy Spirit living in them to give them eternal life. If the law has done its job, it would have shown a person the fact that they are dead and in need of Jesus for life. Only by placing faith in Jesus will a person have eternal life. Nothing else will do. Trying to keep the law is NOT good enough, because no one keeps the law, and no one keeps the 10 commandments either.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Created Earth With a Foundation

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P08 (09-13-23)

Jesus Created Earth With a Foundation and The Angels Were Present

~ Satan was one of the brightest stars. He was the morning star. He was the most beautiful of the angels in all of creation. And yet he himself became proud of everything he was and coveted to be like God. We see the same type of things going on with people today. So many times, we have seen people that think they know it all. They have been to all the top schools. They have a PhD in this subject or that subject. They slap DOCTOR on their door, Dr. so and so. They introduce themselves as Doctor wherever they go and to whoever they are speaking to. They are proud of all their schooling, for they think they have much wisdom in all that knowledge they have gathered to themselves from the world. Yet all of that counts for nothing when it comes to knowing God. In fact, knowledge of the world is dung, as compared to knowing Christ Jesus and His Truth. And furthermore, the knowledge of the world is filled with lies upon lies by Satan that are taught to man, and passed on from one generation to the next without even realizing it.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus God The Creator Made All Things

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P07 (09-12-23)

Jesus, The Creator of All Things, is Superior to The Angels

~ We are still in the first chapter of the Book of Hebrews, and as we have mentioned in the past, details matter on everything. The angels got to witness creation. We learn that through other areas of scripture. The angels were created by Jesus to begin with, and they were present at the time of God creating everything else into existence. And we know that Jesus Himself is the Creator of everything seen and unseen. We need to understand that Jesus, was always God to begin with and still is God. Jesus, God became flesh, and dwelt among man, and know this Jesus will return again to walk among Man again someday. In the meantime, God sent His Spirit, the Holy Spirit to live in each and every believer in Christ Jesus. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, is the same Spirit that raises you and me from the dead when we place faith in Him. And by the way, we have the wisdom of God to be our wisdom for us. Though most live in the energy of their flesh, and thus they believe in the wisdom of man instead of the Wisdom of God.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Made us The New Temple of God

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P06 (09-11-23)

The Only Solution for Everything is Christ Jesus

Jesus is the only solution to everything we have going wrong in the world today. Many people think that Man can solve man’s problems, but that isn’t so. How many times do we need to see that “no one is good, no NOT one?” God tells us that in his word, but do we really believe it? Most do not believe it and certainly do NOT place faith in that from the word of God. You can tell it by their actions. They constantly promote Man above God. They trust in their own understanding of things. They trust that some person out there is going to come along and save them from this world (or at least in America) we live in. They trust even in their own self effort, that they will somehow be able to escape the world’s fleshly desires on their own. They think, there is nothing wrong with holding out hope that a man is going to somehow save them. They are deceived by Satan. They even place faith in their technology idols, and wrongly justify it that it must be a gift of God to have these gurus that are nothing more than con artists working for team Satan.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
