Feed the Sheep With Truth ~ Be a Sharer of TRUTH

Jesus is praying here so that we hear and understand TRUTH ~ “Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world; and for them I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.” John 17:17-19

~ When people hear Truth today, it upsets them. For the Truth of the Word of God, is sharper than any two edged sword. It makes a person think. It cuts to the heart. And many times when people hear Truth it upsets them, because they are thrown all out of whack. Most people don’t like hearing Truth. They don’t like hearing that they are NOT righteous in and of themselves. They want to think that they are basically good people. We hear that many times over our lifetimes, that such and such is basically a good person. Or people will say, “look for the good in people,” as though self-righteousness is to be promoted in themselves and others. The Law is Like a Mirror

Classic Christianity – Book of Romans P24 (11-20-24)

The Law Was Added to Show Man (male and female) His Sinfulness

~ The law came in so that the trespass would increase; but where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:20,21
~ The law shows us our sinfulness. The law is like a mirror, when we look in the mirror, we see how bad we really are. Everything that the law says to do, or not do, we CANNOT do. And therein is what the law was intended to do. It was brought in to show us our sin, and show that we could NOT keep law. And to show us we needed a savior, to save us from Death. So what does Satan do? He changes the laws. He changes things to no longer be called sin, and boy oh boy, if you call something sin in a workplace setting, you can be accused of hate crimes, or get sued by someone for NOT hiring them or firing them because they flaunt some sin big time.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

We Were Born Physically in the Image of Adam, Dead Spiritually, Not in the Image of God

~ When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth. Genesis 5:3
~ Details matter in EVERYTHING. When people say, “We are born in the Image of God” that is a lie. For there was only ONE born in the image of God, and that was Jesus, the First Born of All Creation. “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” Colossians 1:15 Jesus is the last “Adam” ~ Man. Jesus is and always will be God, but He is Also the perfect Man of God, that gives Life to the dead. ‘So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being;” the last Adam a life-giving spirit.’ 1 Corinthians 15:45 The first Adam, was “Created” in the image of God. When Man sinned (male and female), the Spirit of God departed from them, and that very moment they died spiritually. The Spirit is the one that gives LIFE. Saved by Life

We Are Saved by The Life of Jesus NOT His Death

~ For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! Romans 5:10
Most of the world, including the so-called “Christian” world believes and teaches that getting your sins forgiven is what saves a person. That is one of the biggest lies of Satan within the church today. The idea of coming to Jesus to get your sins forgiven. And there are millions of people that believe they are saved because they think they got their sins forgiven by God when they asked for it. And Satan loves keeping people under the deception of that being salvation. And yet we are told in the Scriptures that having been reconciled by God at the cross, and while we were still lost (dead), Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. He took away the sins of the world at the cross, and there is now no more forgiveness doled out by Him. He did it once for ALL sins. Reconciliation Jesus Took Away Your Sins on the Cross

You Were Reconciled at the Cross ~ Forgiveness Was Completed at the Cross

~ For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! Romans 5:10

~ It is very important for us to understand that forgiveness is NOT something we get, it is something that we ALL have been given. As we have stated numerous times, nobody gets their sins forgiven today. For without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness, and we know Jesus is never going to die again. Yet the preaching from most people today is to come to Jesus to get your sins forgiven. Or ask for more forgiveness, or forgive in order to get forgiven by God. And they will even use the book of Acts to say, see Peter said “perhaps” God will forgive you. And yet we see in the book of Acts there were a lot of other things said, that are not doctrine at all either. There was circumcision and baptism of water talked about. Jesus, God is the Faithful One to Have Taken Away All Your Sins at the Cross

~ Whether you agree with God or not, He is Faithful and Just to Have Forgiven You and to Have Cleansed You from ALL unrighteousness.

~ The 1 John 1:9 passage is written crystal clear. It is our understanding that is out of whack. It’s the interpretations that are ALL INTENTIONALLY off. And Satan has messed with the interpretations to be such that hardly anyone believes their sins HAVE been forgiven at the cross. The other thing that is crystal clear in this passage, is the Greek word that is translated as “confess,” does NOT mean to ask for forgiveness. In fact, it’s the exact opposite of that. The word means to agree with God concerning your sins. AGREE does not mean to ask for forgiveness. That is a key point that we ALL need to acknowledge (confess). For without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. And we know that Jesus is NEVER going to die on the cross again. So put the 1 John 1:9 passage to rest, and understand that a person agrees with God, that their sins HAVE been forgiven and they were cleansed of unrighteousness at the cross.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
