All Your Sins Have Been Forgiven Once For All at The Cross

~ Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. (Hebrews 9:22) So many times, we overlook key points of Scripture and don’t exercise faith in what we know to be true. To continue to ask God for forgiveness is telling God that you don’t believe He forgave (past tense) you of all your sins on the cross. It is time to put that thinking to rest and stop making a mockery of the cross and effectively calling God a liar. Instead, thank Him for the forgiveness you have in Christ Jesus and recognize that He forgave you of every sin before you even committed it. Thank you God is your confession of faith. Believe it! Believe in Jesus. Believe “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19

Thank you God for having forgiven me of all of my sins on the cross!!!

In Search of an Identity

The issue of identity is inescapable and central to our lives. “Who am I?” we all ask. “Where did I come from? Where am I going?” Every person wrestles with these questions, and the answers we adopt determine the direction of our lives.

Just as a person’s physical growth is based on proper diet and exercise, so is the Christians’s spiritual growth dependent on regular feeding upon the word of God and application of its principles. With more false teaching, shifting opinions and general confusion in the world than ever before, Christians need a solid foundation upon which to base their beliefs and build their lives. The word of God declares that Jesus Christ is that foundation of truth. With that in mind, let’s now take A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ.

The Gospel, the Message of Grace in Christ Jesus, Must be Told to Grow in Grace

You are blessed if you are under a church that teaches the true message of grace and not one that teaches a mixed gospel. If you are in an extremely law-oriented church, then it is strongly urged that you leave such a church lest that influence continues for the rest of your life. But once you grasp the message of grace in Christ Jesus, then you will continue to grow in grace. If you have it in your heart to teach the message of grace, then certainly make yourself available to teach that grace to others, as the Lord leads and provides such opportunities for you. A pastor who teaches grace should be looking for people of like mind to teach that message of grace. It is good advice to raise a core leadership team that will teach that message with the mindset of continuing that message to future generations. Be Set Free to Grow in Grace, With Christ Alive Living in You, Teaching You Truth

Many people have this concept of separation of church and state, where what you do on Sunday at church, or what you believe about in the religious or spiritual realm, has no bearing on the physical realm. It is like what scripture says, that they have a form of godliness but deny its power thereof (2 Timothy 3). But church is people who have the Spirit of the God living in them (Romans 8:9-11). Church is not where you go on Saturday or Sunday, a building on the corner of walk and don’t walk. The Spirit lives in a believer so he can make proper judgments about all things (1 Corinthians 2:14-16), and filters what comes to his mind based on what truth is by means of a dynamic relationship with the living God. He can take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). A lost person can only relate in the physical realm through his human spirit that is dead to God. Salvation: Totality of the Cross, Being Made Complete in Christ and Growing in Grace

As people are growing in grace, they have questions. Oftentimes, they read passages of scriptures like Hebrews 6:4-6, that they just do not understand it yet. So they call up on a program such as this, or if they are around like-minded believers, where they are free to ask questions in order to grow in grace, they get guidance from mature believers, who rightly divide the word of truth. Many times people have not grabbed a hold of truth because there is something missing in their understanding. Of course, if you just got saved yesterday, you are still on the milk of the word, and that is where you are at. You have not had much time in the word of God yet. So it is helpful to have pastor-teachers that teach truth, help out in our understanding.
