Bob George TeachingBob explains the gospel of good news by sharing numerous scriptures and discerning questions. He starts by sharing from 1 Corinthians 15:1-5, in regards to the necessity of Jesus death, burial, and resurrection, and asks the question, “What is the gospel?” He then shares examples of men who were quite successful in this world, but how futile their life is without Christ. He shares from the booklet he wrote titled “Born Free” that provides more details on the lives of these men and their tragic ending (https://bobgeorge.net/books-by-bob-george/born-free/). So man, without the life of Christ, tries to find meaning and purpose in occupation, worldly success, sexual encounters, friends, and all kinds of things, none of which fill the God-sized vacuum in their inner being. Man’s fundamental problem is that he is spiritually dead and in need of new life, God’s life.

Bob George TeachingBob George continues teaching from the book of John. Bob shares what it means to born again, to have the Holy Spirit living in you, as John Baptist testified that Jesus would do. He also shares again some of the ways people have believed in error, following other doctrines and misplaced trust, believing in anything except Jesus Christ alone or even believing in Jesus plus something. Indeed, Jesus plus anything nullifies the finished work of Jesus Christ, and is really a false gospel one is believing. He also shares about those who only looked for what Jesus could do for them but had no change of heart, concerning who God is or even failing to recognize their own condition in sin to have a reason to come to believe. He shares a message Jesus told that should send chills to religious people who think so highly of themselves by the works they do, but fail to recognize Jesus and come to him for life and righteousness.
