Jesus Wants to Open up the Eyes of the Blind and Make Blind Those That Think They Can See

~ The self righteous person manifests itself in numerous ways today. Many get angry as hornets when you tell them that trying to obey the law will not save them, nor is God pleased with their self efforts. Others think that they are better than someone else, because they never physically murdered anyone, or committed adultery. But God is looking at the heart. Additionally, the child of God who abides in the Holy Spirit will face all types of name calling under the sun. As you learn more about the truth of this world, and see the lies all around us, people will call you crazy, or kick you out of their fellowship group because they will consider you very strange. Do not be surprised that the self righteous think themselves better than they ought, for that also happened when Jesus walked on earth himself. There is only one type of righteousness that is important to God, and that is the righteousness of Jesus himself. ~ Once a person is in Christ, and Christ is in You, You can never lose Christ in You. Satan wants us to believe the lie that you can lose eternal life in Christ Jesus. The enemy wants you to believe that there is more forgiveness required by God for ongoing sins and wants us to focus on ourselves instead of focusing on Jesus and His finished work on the cross. “Salvation is receiving the resurrected life of Christ Jesus. The reason that once you have gotten that life that that life is eternal, is because of the eternal consequence of the cross, where he took away eternally the cause of death, which is sin.”

Synopsis

In this world there will always be false teaching. There will be pastors of churches who do not know the Lord. There will be people who do know the Lord, but would rather rely on their intellect, their Greek, their Hebrew, their seminary, to teach the word of God. Many times people will teach whatever theology that they grew up with or came to know the Lord under. And since they are told they must go to seminary in order to preach, and so they go to seminary and there they are taught all sorts of tradition or teaching that may or may not be true. Sadly, so few people will test to see if what they heard is so, by checking the scriptures out for themselves. The whole issue of false teaching is false dependency, leaning on your own understanding rather than relying on the Holy Spirit living in you, to reveal the meaning of the word of God to you.
