Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P441 (5-17-19)
Clarence called to express concern over so many false teachers on the airways. Marie called to say that she did not believe in “once saved, always saved” but then was unwilling to listen to truth. She did not call to learn but to preach. So Bob had to cut off the air and then explain the truth on eternal security in salvation to the listeners. Charles called to ask what is the sin of blasphemy. Bob explained what that is from scripture and further explained what God accomplished in sending his son Jesus to die on the cross to take away the sins of the entire world. Bob further explained that salvation is the receiving of life. Mark called to ask if you can lose your salvation. Bob first asked Mark to explain what he knew and then explained in detail what salvation is. Salvation is being saved from the consequences of sin, which is death, by the gift of God, which is life. Elizabeth called to ask what it means to endure to he end. Bob asked her what she understood and then explained the simplicity of the gospel, appealing her to come to Christ for life.
The first caller, Clarence, first expressed to say he is bothered that there are so many false teachers out there. He also expressed concern in regard to Bob calling out a preacher. Bob had stated what he had read in regards to a preacher in response to another caller’s question, and after another lady called, he looked into it further. He later discovered that the teacher was correct in his teaching on the Trinity based on a statement of faith he found. Bob showed humility and corrected his earlier assessment based on limited information. Bob sees no reason to doubt that what was written is what they believed. Anybody can check out a person’s preaching and write a letter to them personally if they are concerned about it. Bob George Ministries is not about blasting people one way or another. The caller agreed with Bob’s response and said he loved Bob’s teaching and will continue to listen and honor his teaching.
Unlike Bob, this next caller did not show humility. The next caller, Marie, was quite argumentative and was not calling to get answers but to preach, and to preach error. She had stated she does not believe in this “once saved, always saved” she has heard. However, she refused to stop preaching what she believed is the truth and would not stop to listen. Bob had to cut her off the air because she would not be quiet in order to listen to truth. Bob then explained to the listeners, and to her, if she was still listening, why he believed this woman is unsaved and explained the truth, as revealed to him, from the scriptures why you cannot lose your salvation. Bob also explained how God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. The humble are those who listen to truth so that God can grant eternal life, for they change their mind to believe and be saved.
Charles called to ask what the sin of blasphemy is. The woman who called previously was committing the sin of blasphemy, refusing to be drawn by the Holy Spirit to listen to truth. Bob explained that blasphemy is attributing the works of God to the works of Satan. The only blasphemy is the blasphemy against Christ Jesus, not against anything else, but against what he claimed to do. The works of God is to save you and if you say “no”, then to a degree that is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God, the one who reveals truth to us. Bob further explained what Jesus did, what the unpardonable sin is, the cause of sin, the purpose of the law, which did not work, and then Jesus coming so man can recognize his condition of spiritual death, and the offer of life through his resurrection. Bob essentially explained what salvation is. Ultimately, blasphemy is the rejection of Christ Jesus work at the cross and his resurrection, which such rejection of is the only unpardonable sin. All sin is forgiven, except blasphemy, which cannot be forgiven. Every sin committed on the face of the earth is placed on the back of God never to be remembered any more. All your sins were forgiven before you were born. But you were not born alive. So the choice is yours whether you are going to receive life or remain dead. And that is what salvation is, the receiving of eternal life.
Mark, a new believer, also called because he was hearing things that was causing him confusion and concern. Mark called to ask, “Can a person lose their salvation?” Anybody who calls asking that question is calling because they do not understand what salvation is, or are weak in their faith, as in this new believer who called, and understandably so due to his recent conversion. Bob asked him several questions to discern what Mark understood in regards to what salvation is. Then Bob went into great lengths to explain salvation clearly. Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is being saved from the consequences of sin, which is death, by the gift of God, which is life. You were born into this world dead spiritually. God’s Spirit was not living in you. The only solution to that was the resurrection of Christ Jesus. That is precisely why Paul said that without the resurrection we are to be pitied of all people and are still in our sins, knowing full well that a cross had occurred where his blood was shed to take away the sins of the entire world. You were born in this world forgiven. But that forgiveness that was provided for you then is only received in his resurrected life. It is in his life that you receive forgiveness. You do not come to Christ to get forgiven. You come to Christ to get life. Mark was appreciative of the call and said he understood, agreeing with the truth Bob was sharing. He was most likely a believer who was being tossed about by every wind of doctrine.
Another common question asked by many, and what Elizabeth called to ask Bob is, “What does it mean that he who endures to the end will be saved?” She initially seemed to be calling so as to receive truth, but later proved to be argumentative. Unlike, Marie, though, Bob was still able to communicate with her on the air and share the gospel of salvation with her. But she showed no evidence of being appreciative to Bob’s sharing. But even more heartbreaking is that she did not show any willingness to accept truth yet we rejoice that a seed was planted that hopefully she ponders over and believes unto eternal life. Elizabeth is a by-product of what the first caller, Clarence, was bothered about. There is so much false teaching out there keeping people in darkness. What is even more heart-breaking is that people do not check out the truth for themselves in the scriptures and ask the Spirit to teach them. Elizabeth was quoting a verse here and there, repeating what she heard from some preaching somewhere, but has no idea where the scripture comes from nor has given any indication that she even read any passage in the context in which it was written. She was not very receptive to truth and was argumentative. Bob shared this simple gospel message with her. Eternal life is receiving life. You are dead spiritually until you come alive and there is only one source of life available to you and if you do not receive it you will die and go to hell. It is that simple. Not that God sends you to hell, you send yourself because you refuse the gift that was offered to you in Christ Jesus. Jesus died to take away the sins of the entire world. He had to suffer and die on a cross to take away the sins of the entire world. How come? So he could offer his resurrected life, that is called eternal life, that nothing could separate you from the love of God, because the only thing that could is sin and your sins have been taken away at the cross. That is the simplicity of the gospel. Why refuse it?

Clarence from Decatur, GA
Jesus is God of the universe, God in the flesh. How can we have all these ministers who claim to be preachers of the gospel but do not accept Jesus Christ as God in the flesh? Why did you call out T.D. Jakes out publicly? You said something concerning his ministry. I have never you heard you call out another well known preacher out like that before.
Bob explained what happened in regards to a discussion about T. D. Jakes with another caller. The only reason I called it out is because someone like you called in asking about it. That question came in regard to the teaching of the Trinity. I had stated it was my understanding and my understanding came from Research Institute. A lady corrected me on that so I told her I would get back with her after looking into it further. I did find a doctrinal statement that stated that they believed in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I will take ministry at their word. If this is what is written then I am not going to call them a liar. It is not our ministry to blast people one way or another.
Clarence then closed by saying, “We have unsaved people listening to programs”. Bob commented, “We have unsaved people teaching that gospel”. Clarence continued, “I feel bad about ministers on public radio criticizing one another, talking against one another, because to me it hurts the ministry and hurts the gospel. We already know what bible says about false prophets and people in error. I will continue to listen to you for you have great teaching and I honor your teaching.”
Marie from Hunter, New York
She is questioning eternal salvation. “You people say ‘once saved, always saved’, but I do not believe in that”. She was quite belligerent and would interrupt Bob as if trying to keep Bob from speaking.
Bob replied, “Marie, I will stop you there. You are are either going to be quiet or I will take you off the air. Marie, this is not a place for you to argue these points. This is a place for people to call to get answers. You are not calling to get answers but you are calling to preach.”
Marie was cut off. Bob continues, “Let me explain something to somebody including this woman.”
Here is the issue. Don’t tell me that a person like that is saved who says you can lose what God says you cannot lose. Jesus said many things, testifying of eternal life.
Hebrews 13:5
because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
1 John 5:10-12
10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God did not say, “God so loved the … that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have ‘temporal’ life”. He did not say temporal life but eternal life.
The reason this woman is as confused as she is and thinking it is truth and thinking she has the gall to say she is right and everyone else is wrong is because she does not know what salvation is. Satan gives people the gall to do that. Salvation is receiving life. It has nothing to do with you or me or anyone else. It is grace and grace all comes from God. You did not have any earthly thing to do to get it or any earthly thing to do to keep it. It is all of him and none of you. When you reverse that process, thinking that God is responding to you, and you are God, then you come up with these kinds of Satanic doctrines.
Hebrews 10:29
29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
You are making a mockery of the blood of the covenant that sanctified you. You are calling God a liar. You lied by saying it is not finished when Jesus cried on the cross saying “it is finished”. That ego and that pride to think you are anything than a fallen depraved human being is why Paul said “what a wretched man I am”.
Romans 7:23:25
23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
There is nothing you can do to earn salvation and nothing you can do to keep it. God does not give grace to anyone but the humble. God gives grace to whom he wants to and those are the ones who are humble enough to receive it. God resists the proud.
James 4:6
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
When pride stands up and calls God a liar, in regards to what God gave them, eternal life through Jesus Christ, they will not inherit eternal life. I am not going on the air to listen to that kind of nonsensical teaching for that is not the goal of this ministry. The goal of this ministry is to teach people what the bible says is true. That is why I do not allow that on this program.
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
Charles from Aurora, Colorado
Charles asked, “What is blasphemy?”
In Matthew 12, Jesus is speaking truth to the crowds, and the Pharisees are among those in the crowd. The Pharisees are the religious leaders who accuse Jesus of blasphemy, saying that Jesus, a mere man, is proclaiming himself to be God (John 10:33). Yet, here is Jesus healing people. Nicodemus testified that no one can do what he is doing unless God were with him (John 3:2). But certainly all the other Pharisees attribute the healing to Satan. Recall Nicodemus, in John 3, was the one who sought Jesus out at night and listened as Jesus told him to not marvel that you have to be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven (John 3:5).
In this context Jesus said these words:
Matthew 12:30-32
30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
So what is blasphemy? It basically attributing the works of God to the works of Satan. In scriptures, you read about God standing in front of his own people. That never happened before, where God became a man and dwelt among his own people.
John 1:11
He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
They attributed to what he was doing to the works of Satan, and that is blasphemy. The only blasphemy is blasphemy against Christ Jesus, not against anything else but against what he claimed to do.
When you are claiming that Jesus did not complete the work of the cross and did not take away the sins of the world, which is the only thing that can cause life to depart from you, that to a degree is blasphemous. Scriptures deal with that.
Romans 1:27
And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
Jeremiah 31:33-34
33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
Romans 5:12
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned
1 Corinthians 15:45
45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
You are making a mockery and treating as unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctifies us.
Hebrews 10:29
29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
Blasphemy is attributing the works of God to Satan. The work of God is this: to believe on the one who is sent (John 6:29), to save us, and you say “no” and so to a degree that is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God, the one who reveals truth to us.
John 6:29
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
It is the rejection of the truth from God. Can people be forgiven for that? No, as long as you are rejecting Jesus. The only unpardonable sin is the sin of rejecting Jesus.
John 16:9
The world’s sin is unbelief in me
That is the only sin he did not take away at the cross. He could not take that away. That is the only sin that has to be repented of. The person who continues saying “I do not believe Jesus is the way of salvation is continuing to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit”. The issue is you are rejecting what Jesus came to do for you, which is to take away your sins at the cross and to give you eternal life through his resurrection.
Charles then asked, “Once you turn it around, you are okay?”
Absolutely. It takes time for us. Jesus entered the Jewish world. They were full of legalism. They were all religious phonies. Jesus said this to the religious Pharisees.
Matthew 23:27
27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.
That was not good news to them. He had to get underneath their skin because he was heading to the cross to provide salvation. If I do not see I am a sinner, what do I need with his salvation? If I do not see I am dead, do I have an appreciation for his resurrected life? I do not need his life if I am not dead. I do not need his forgiveness if I am not a sinner. His work on the earth was to show us those two things about ourselves to prepare us for salvation. Now the law was to do that but it was not doing that. So Jesus got underneath the skin in order to be an extension of the law in order to show what we must see about ourselves to prepare us for salvation.
Galatians 3:19
Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator.
Romans 7:7
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Charles asked, “Blasphemy is a sin. Is that what you said?”
Blasphemy is the sin, a sin against the testimony of the Holy Spirit in regards to Jesus. Blasphemy is against the Holy Spirit. Many theologians believe that is only possible when Jesus was standing there on earth among men. But I also believe that today you have the Holy Spirit to convince the world of wrong about sin, of righteousness, and judgment and about sin because they do not believe in me.
John 16:7-11
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
So ultimately blasphemy is the rejection of Christ Jesus work at the cross and his resurrection, of which such rejection is the only unpardonable sin.
Charles asked, “Is all sin is forgiven?”
Every sin committed on the face of the earth is placed on the back of God never to be remembered any more. All your sins were forgiven before you were born. But you were not born alive. So the choice is yours whether you are going to receive life or remain dead. And that is what salvation is, the receiving of eternal life.
Mark from Houston, TX
He is a new believer. Mark asked, “Can a person lose their salvation?”
Let’s go back to the day you were saved. What were you a believer in? What was your understanding of the gospel when you were saved?
Mark replied. “You repent of your sins, that Jesus is the Messiah and came and died for your sins and rose on the third day.”
Bob asks, “What is the significance of the resurrection on the third day? That is an historical truth, but what is the significance of that?
Mark replied, “That is the price he had to pay for our sins. All our sins were forgiven after that.”
Bob continues, and explains salvation.
That is the reason that question is asked. What you said is not salvation. It is a part of salvation. Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is being saved from the consequences of sin, which is death, by the gift of God, which is life. You were born into this world dead spiritually. God’s Spirit was not living in you. The only solution to that was the resurrection of Christ Jesus. That is precisely why Paul said that without the resurrection we are to be pitied of all people and are still in our sins, knowing full well that a cross had occurred that he took away the sins of the entire world.
1 Corinthians 15:12-19
12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. 19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
You were born in this world forgiven. But that forgiveness that was provided for you then is only received in his resurrected life. It is in his life that you receive forgiveness. You do not come to ‘Christ to get forgiven. You come to Christ to get life.
Ephesians 1:7
7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
2 Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
Bob has told people, in case you have not figured it out, death is worse than sin. Sin caused death.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord
Death had to be cured and the only cure for death is the resurrection of the living Christ Jesus. When you understand what salvation is, the imputation of Christ’s life, God giving to you what you had lost in Adam, that being the Spirit of God living in you, and you come to realize that what you were saved from was the consequences of sin, which is death, you were saved from eternal death.
Romans 4:3
What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Romans 4:22-25
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.
You are saved by the eternal life of Christ Jesus. Life is what saves you.
Romans 5:10
For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
The reason you have eternal life is because of the eternal consequences of the cross, where he took away sin, which is the cause of death. What caused the Spirit of God to depart from Adam? Sin. What causes the Spirit of God to depart from Jesus at the cross? Our sin. The only thing that could cause the life of God that lives in you to depart from you is sin. The reason that it is impossible is because God took away all our sins from the eyes of God at the cross. So it is impossible to lose your life. The only thing that could cause your life to be lost, which is what losing salvation would be, is sin. And the reason that cannot occur is because of Jesus going to the cross and taking away the cause of sin.
Mark asks, “Some other person says you can lose your salvation is by back sliding.”
Bob continues. “He does not know what salvation is. You were squeamish on it, Mark. There is a reason for that. You cannot just say, ‘Once saved, always saved’. Quit talking about salvation that way. Salvation is life.”
John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
So the issue of salvation is the imputation of God’s life, living in you, which becomes your only hope of glory.
Colossians 1:26-27
He has kept this secret for centuries and generations past, but now at last it has pleased him to tell it to those who love him and live for him, and the riches and glory of his plan are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ in your hearts is your only hope of glory.
Understand that salvation is life, being saved from the consequences of sin, which is death, by the gift of God, which is life. God took away the cause of death eternally by shedding his blood on the cross.
Hebrews 9:22
In fact we can say that under the old agreement almost everything was cleansed by sprinkling it with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
Hebrews 7:27
He never needs the daily blood of animal sacrifices, as other priests did, to cover over first their own sins and then the sins of the people; for he finished all sacrifices, once and for all, when he sacrificed himself on the cross.
Now you have a reason and something to say to this man, a reason why how it is impossible to lose your life. The whole issue of salvation is life. Jesus said the world’s sin is unbelief in me (John 16:9). The only sin that could not be forgiven was the sin of rejection of the Son of God. That sin cannot be forgiven, it has to be repented of. That is what you did when you came to Christ. That is what I did when I came to believe. I stopped being an unbeliever and became a believer.
Help that brother out. Start with what salvation is, what I first spoke with you. What is your understanding of salvation? I guarantee you, Mark, he will say that Jesus died for my sins. Explain to him that that is not salvation. That is what God had to do to clear the deck for the divine action to bring salvation to us.
Colossians 1:20
It was through what his Son did that God cleared a path for everything to come to him — all things in heaven and on earth—for Christ’s death on the cross has made peace with God for all by his blood.
It was preparatory to salvation but forgiveness in and of itself is not salvation. Resurrection is salvation.
Elizabeth from Voltaire, California
Elizabeth called to ask, “What does it mean that he who endures to the end will be saved?”
Bob asked, “Do you know where it says that in scripture? What is the context? Did not Paul say to finish the race? We did not get into this situation to stop in the middle of it. We just endure to the very end. But if you think that it means that if you don’t that you can lose oyur salvation, then we have more to talk about.”
Elizabeth asks, “What do you mean to endure what to the end?”
Bob replies. To endure in your faith. The only thing that pleases God is our faith.
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
There is nothing you and I do down here that impresses God except our faith in Jesus. He is impressed with Jesus not you and me.
Matthew 3:17
And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
So endure to the end. You will have trials and tribulations, so endure to the end, hang on until the end.
John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Romans 5:3-5
3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
2 Peter 3:9
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
Elizabeth asks, “Some people say you have eternal life whether you do anything or not but if you do not believe in Jesus Christ then you will have your eternal life in a burning hell.”
Bob interjects and shares the message of salvation. “There is a lot of nonsense taught out there. How can you and I be saved any other way than what God did to save us?”
Elizabeth replies, “I did not mean that.”
Bob continues, “I know you didn’t. Think about humanity. Is there anyone that thinks they can stand before God in their own righteousness, and I belong here because I am so good? Do you think you could say that? Or me? ”
Elizabeth interrupts and responds rather belligerently, “That has nothing to do with what I asked. What must I do to gain and inherit eternal life? It says to repent and be baptized, believe in Jesus, and all that stuff.”
Bob continues, “Elizabeth, we are all over the place. You do not have the totality of the knowledge of the bible. But have you not read that? Elizabeth, come on, quit being argumentative on this kind of thing. The bible has to be interpreted in context, not just coming up with passages here you do not even know where they are. I just got through telling you what eternal life is. Why don’t you want to grab a hold of truth instead of flipping around with all this error? Eternal life is receiving life. You are dead spiritually until you come alive and there is only one source of life available to you and if you do not receive it you will die and go to hell. It is that simple. Not that God sends you to hell, you send yourself because you refuse the gift that was offered to you in Christ Jesus. Jesus died to take away the sins of the entire world. He had to suffer and die on a cross to take away the sins of the entire world. How come? So he could offer his resurrected life, that is called eternal life, that nothing could separate you from the love of God, because only thing that could is sin and your sins have been taken away at the cross. That is the simplicity of the gospel. Why refuse it?”
Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
John 5:39-40
39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
