The Work of God is to Believe in Jesus

 ~ Then they inquired, “What must we do to perform the works of God?”

Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” John 6:28,29

~ There are numerous people today that come up with all types of doing good works requirements for being saved, and yet when you question them, what are the good works that must be done to be saved? They have no answer. The legalists love using this doing good works argument to point out to others, you’ve got to do “good works” in order to be saved. Okay, if that is the case, how many and what are they? Most of the time you will get silence from them when you question them. Other times they will quote Scripture out of context, and repeat something from the book of James, James 2:20-26 yet will never provide the examples of works represented in the book of James itself.

Jesus is Our Very LIFE Now

 ~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

When you receive Jesus, and accept Him as God in the flesh, for having taken away all your sins at the cross, then by faith you are agreeing with God, and He gives you eternal LIFE at that very moment in time. Salvation is LIFE, not getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is the very Life of God, the Holy Spirit coming to indwell you. And nothing you do can kick the Holy Spirit out of you. Why? Because “the Law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the Law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2 So rest in TRUTH. Believe it. Don’t let anyone deceive you into thinking you can lose life. Because Life is permanent, eternal, and it is something you have the very moment He comes to live in you. Reality of the Resurrection of Jesus

Jesus is The Resurrection And The LIFE

 ~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

~ When you receive Jesus, and what He did for you at the cross, He comes to live in you and gives you Eternal Life, the very moment you place Faith in Him. Life begins the minute you have Jesus living in you. His Spirit now lives in you if you have received Him. He will always be there for you and in you. You become a New creation the very moment that happens. You become a child of God.

Worlds Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

The World’s Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

 ~ “And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned.” John 16:8-11

~ All your sins were taken away at the cross. This is true for both the lost and the saved person. The difference between a lost and a saved person is that the lost person is dead (without the Spirit of God living in them) and a saved person HAS the Spirit of God living in them, and they HAVE LIFE. Today most people are going around saying that if you ask for forgiveness, God will forgive you your sins. Well folks, that is a lie. Because Jesus took away all the sins of the world at the cross, and He is not in the business of handing out more forgiveness for the asking. Be Born Free in Christ Jesus

 ~ “Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” John 16:13

Once a person has the Spirit of God living in them, nothing can separate them from the Spirit of God. They are permanently written in the Book of Life. And to become born again simply requires placing Faith in Jesus, the Faithful One of God to have taken away the sins of the world and when a person exercises Faith, the Spirit of God comes to indwell them at that very moment and give them His eternal life. And there is nothing a person can do to cause the Spirit of God to depart from them. NOTHING can separate them from the Love of God.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38,39

The Holy Spirit Was Sent to ALWAYS Teach us Truth

 ~ “But when He the, Spirit of truth, shall come, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He may hear, He will speak. And He will declare to you the things coming.” John 16:13

– When a person receives the Holy Spirit, the very day they place Faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit is given to them to live by faith from first to last. We are not to focus on ourselves, but on the Spirit of God who lives in us, to teach us ALL Truth. And today, the deceptions of the world are immense, and we get sucked into them, hook, line and sinker. Why? Because we do not depend upon the Spirit of God to show us the Truth. We lean on our own understanding of things, and think we have it all figured out. The Holy Spirit is also given for the body of Christ, to teach and build up the church in Truth.
