Church is Not a Building

Church is NOT a Building on The Corner of Walk and Don’t Walk

– It’s interesting to note, how many people talk about “going to church,” even within the group of believers. It’s as though we have this guilty feeling if we don’t go someplace on Sunday in what we think is worshipping God. And the evil one has got us so brainwashed into thinking that we have to do something for God to appreciate us, that we have forgotten the Truth of the word of God. Folks, we who are in Christ Jesus are the church of Jesus. No one “goes to church” today, because if you are in Christ Jesus you are the church. That’s the beginning point of understanding. Now, having fellowship with like minded believers is definitely something to consider, especially in these days where everything is so strange and everyone is so deceived. Convict the World of Unbelief in Jesus

The World’s Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

 ~ “And having come, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment: concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go away to the Father and you behold Me no more; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.” John 16:8-11

–  There is one sin that needs to be repented of and that is to change our mind in regards to who Jesus is, and that He took away the sins of the world, and the world includes you and me. When someone says they believe that, and then they go back and ask for more forgiveness by God, they have not exercised Faith in Him. Faith says thank you to God. Faith agrees with God. Faith adds up basic math and says, one plus one equals two. There is no more forgiveness being given out by God. God was in Christ Jesus, reconciling the world to himself, and is no longer counting anyone’s sins against them. Salvation is Receiving New Life

The Holy Spirit Indwelt People on the Day of Pentecost

 ~ “And during the arriving of the day of Pentecost, they were all together in one place. And suddenly a sound like a violent rushing wind came out of heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them dividing tongues as of fire and sat upon each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit was giving to them to utter forth.” Acts 2:1-4

–  It wasn’t until the day of Pentecost, after Jesus had risen from the dead, that He sent the Holy Spirit to indwell people. Prior to that, in Old testament days, the Spirit came upon people for service, but did not indwell them permanently, as on the Day that the Holy Spirit came forth to indwell New Testament believers. The Holy Spirit never leaves a person today, no matter what. When you have the Spirit, you Have Life that is eternal. Walking in the New Covenant

God is the Initiator, We are Responders

 ~ “In response, Jesus said, “This voice was not for My benefit, but yours. Now judgment is upon this world; now the prince of this world will be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw everyone to Myself.” He said this to indicate the kind of death He was going to die.” John 12:31-33

–  God is drawing everyone to Jesus. Jesus died on the cross to take away the sins of the world. “That God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19 He initiated the process of salvation. We respond by faith by saying thank you to God. Thank you is agreeing with God and responding to Him with thanksgiving in our hearts. When we agree with God, we confess (agree with Him) and receive His Life living in us through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is Eternal Life

Whoever Has Jesus Has Eternal Life

 ~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

–  Focus on Jesus, NOT religion. People are so caught up in religion today, that everything revolves around where they park their body on Sunday. Being saved has nothing to do with religion. There is only one way to the God, and that is through Jesus Himself. For Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except by Him. And there are many today that think they have Jesus, but they have believed in another Jesus, a different Jesus. They have believed in what Man and Satan’s transformed ministers have taught instead of the word of God. Time to come to the knowledge of Truth. Get out of Man made religion and accept Jesus as God in the flesh, who took away all your sins at the cross, and wants to give you His life that is eternal, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit when you place Faith in Him and Him alone.

A Closer Look at The Truth About Prayer

Forgive One Another As Jesus God Forgave You

 ~ “Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

 ~ “Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13

–  Time to move on, if someone is not willing to forgive you, and you’ve gone out of your way to deal with the issue with them, and yet they refuse to forgive you, there is nothing more you can do. Part of the problem is most people have no clue that Jesus forgave them completely at the cross. This goes for both the lost and the saved world. They have forgotten that they have been cleansed completely from ALL their sins, including the sins they commit in the future. They were forgiven at the cross. When Jesus went to the cross, He who knew no sin became sin for us so that we could become the righteousness of God in HIM. Once a person realizes that, then forgiveness towards others becomes a matter of our life in Him.
