Believers are the Body of Jesus Christ the Church

Classic Christianity – Gifts For The Church – Part 2 – 7-15-26

~ Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in various tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

Holy Spirit

Classic Christianity – Gifts For The Church – Part 1 – 7-14-26

~ Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. You know that when you were pagans, you were led even as to mute idols, being led astray. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking in the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed,” and no one is able to say, “Jesus is Lord,” except in the Holy Spirit.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, and the same Lord; and there are varieties of workings, but the same God who is working all things in all. 1 Corinthians 12:1-6

— God wants us to know exactly what our spiritual gifts are and what they are for. They are not for ourselves, but they are gifts for others. Salvation is Through Faith in Jesus

Classic Christianity – Justification by Faith – 7-13-26

~ Only through Faith in Jesus is anyone saved. Not by works of the Law. Because no one can do the works of the Law. That is the key point. And salvation for both HEBREWS and Gentiles is Exactly the same way, through Faith in Jesus. This is why we are all of one body. There is NOT a HEBREW body and a Gentile body, but only ONE Body of Christ Jesus. Don’t get caught up in the legalism crowd or the crowd that says, Hebrews are saved one way and Gentiles are saved another way. Because all of that is a lie of Satan.

— What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has discovered? If Abraham was indeed justified by works, he had something to boast about, but not before God. Think of Yourself With Sober Judgment

Classic Christianity – Gifts for Today – Part 2 – 7-08-26

~ “Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.a Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but think of yourself with sober judgment, according to the measure of faith God has given you. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and not all members have the same function, so in Christ we who are many are one body, and each member belongs to one another.

We have different gifts according to the grace given us. Worship by Being Available to Jesus

Classic Christianity – Gifts for Today – Part 1 – 7-07-26

~ “Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.” Romans 12:1

~ Allow God to use you as He sees fit. Allow Him to guide you on what to say, what to do, and trust in Him, who is living in you, to teach you ALL Truth. We have replaced true worship with imitation worship. We think going to “church” is worship, or singing songs, or raising our arms, or reading our Bibles, or even not doing things as though that is worship to God. But the Truth is that He alone guides us in everything, moment by moment of the day. When we place Faith in Him to do what He said He would do, in and through us, that is what is pleasing to God. The word is “Offer” or “Present” your body to God, because HE alone has made it Holy and pleasing to God. This is important for us to understand. We don’t make ourselves holy. He First Loved Us

Classic Christianity – God’s Absolute Love – 7-06-26

~ “There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love.” 1 John 4:18

~ It’s only when we understand the perfect Love of God for us, that we can stop being in fear of everything, including that of fear of punishment from God. Because once we understand that when we are in Christ Jesus, and He is in us, He did not put a spirit of fear in us, but He placed His Spirit of Love in our hearts. And as He renews our minds with Truth, this gets rid of the fear we have in us and it is His love that gives us the ability for His Love to flow through us, because Love lives in us. Everything is related to understanding the perfect Love of God. And remember, it’s not that we love Him, but that He first Loves us!
