By Faith in The True Jesus We Are Credited As Righteous Before God

~ When a person places Faith in Jesus, God in the flesh, for having taken away their sins on the cross for them personally, they become indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God for Life Eternal. So it is by Faith, not by works of the law that gives a person saving Life. That is obvious to us that are saved, but it is not at all obvious to those who are still working at trying to attain their own salvation by what they do or don’t do in their own lives. And Paul goes into much detail about this, laying out the fact that when someone works at something, it is no longer a gift, but is something they themselves are earning, and as such they expect to be paid what they earned. It’s an obligation to be paid to them. But here is a key point in all of this, if a person is working, to earn, then they are NOT receiving the Free Gift from God. We Are Forgiven! A Child of God Rests in His Forgiveness

~ “You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.” Romans 8:9

~ “The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

If a person does not have the Holy Spirit, they are dead. They are NOT born again of the Spirit of God. They are NOT saved by Jesus’ Life living in them. The cross is what cleared the deck for Eternal Life. The cross took away the sins of the world, and God is no longer counting anyone’s sins against them. This goes for both the lost and the saved. The Resurrection of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit is who provides ETERNAL LIFE. The saved person confesses, says thank you God for having taken away their sins at the cross. We Are To Offer Our Bodies as a Living Sacrifice to God

~ “Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.” Romans 12:1

When we are in Christ Jesus, and He is in us, we have been made Holy and acceptable in His sight. And since we are already Holy and acceptable in His sight, then we are to make our bodies available to be used by Him as we abide in the Spirit of God. Now abiding in the Spirit of God does not mean the world is going to like you, and if the world does like you, then that is a red flag. Because quite honestly you will be hated by the world if you are in Christ Jesus. Jesus said, “If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. John 15:18” And sometimes that same thing will even come from some Christian friends, for they will not understand the things that you do by walking in the Spirit. The Law Shows Us Our Sinfulness So We Turn to Jesus for His Righteousness

~ Today, most of the people have declared most everything to no longer be sin. Satan has done a masterful job of this, declaring most everything to no longer be sin. We are not just talking about the 10 commandments anymore taken off the courthouses folks. That was a picture of things to come, and we hardly paid any attention to it. Then we got caught up in the world of everything not declared sin on the television and the movies and the news. We have been brainwashed by it. And most of you know what we are talking about there and don’t have to go into details about it. But we fell in love with our idols regardless of Truth. And yet they passed more laws that declare things are no longer sin. And in fact it is gone even further than that today, they passed laws if you do declare things wrong, and that if you declare some things sin you are considered to be doing hate speech. Self-Righteous is Always About What I am Doing, God’s Righteousness is About Jesus and What He Did

~ The self-righteous person today always comes up with things they need to be doing. They don’t focus on what Jesus God has done. They will come up with all types of things, and then when you confront them on how much do they have to do to be saved, or how much do they NOT have to do for God to not save them, or how many bad things can they do in order for God to declare them goners, they can never answer the question. Because the Truth of the matter is, that nothing less than perfection will do if a person is trying to live under the law. It’s not, do a little bit of this and a little bit of that, it’s about keeping the whole law of God, from the beginning of your life to the end of your life. No One is Righteous in The Sight of God Through Obedience to The Law

~ The word of God for today is that Both the Hebrews of the Old Testament writings, and the Gentiles in the world were/are not righteous in the sight of God by observing the law. And the law was never given to the Gentiles in the first place, it was ONLY given to the Hebrews/Israelites. But be that as it may, neither is righteous in the sight of God by observing the law, because neither can observe the law. And that was proven out by the Hebrews/Israelites that could not observe the law in the first place when they tried their best in the desert. And we found out in the book of HEBREWS, that God found fault with the people, because no one could live up to the righteous requirements of the Law. So God instituted a New Covenant, by Faith in Jesus, the One who is righteous, and He alone fulfilled the Law for everyone, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God, both for Hebrew and Gentile.
