Did You Come to Jesus for Life, Or to Get Things?

~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” ^{John 11:25,26}

“And what he is saying to us is, Did you come to me for bread? Did you come to me for healing? Did you even come to me for forgiveness? Or did you come to me for me, not for what I did for you, but for me, who wants to live in you? Because as we’ve said before, guys, that we have a problem in this world. And that is you’re born into this world, not alive spiritually, but dead spiritually, and death is death. And the only solution to death is life. And the only life available to us, is the resurrected life of Christ Jesus. He’s the only one that can bring life to the dead. I came that you might have what? God Cleansed You of All Unrighteousness at the Cross so He Could Place His Holy Spirit in You Now

~ God Transforms You Into a Child of the Living God Through Faith in Jesus Christ, Not by Works of the Law. He Cleansed You of All Unrighteousness at the Cross, so He Could Place His Holy Spirit in You Now and Seals You Eternally in Him.

~ “So first, John one nine is not a passage to a believer, because if I have to keep being confessed or keep being cleansed of all of my unrighteousness then I’m standing in my own righteousness to begin with. In other words, I have his righteousness, but then I have my unrighteousness. So I got to be cleansed again of my unrighteousness. Well, that doesn’t make any sense because I never did stand in my righteousness to begin with. So I never had righteousness except his and he doesn’t need cleansed of unrighteousness. So I’m not standing in mine. And if I’m not standing in mine, as a saved person, then what I need to be cleansed from anymore? Jesus Has Forgiven You of All Your Sins ~ Past Action at the Cross

~ “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Hebrews 9:22

~ “This lesson deals with what the law is powerless to do, it can’t make one perfect in the sight of God. In other words, complete in the sight of God. It cannot make one righteous in the sight of God and the law cannot give life to the dead. So three pretty important issues who says the law cannot do. We talked about that, when you’re talking about this area of the law, it says the former regulation was set aside because it was weak, it was useless. And another place it said it’s powerless. For the law made nothing perfect and a better hope is introduced by which we draw near to God. The whole goal of this is God’s desire that we draw near to Him. No Man Will Ever Draw Near to God Through Obedience to the Law ~ Only by Faith in Jesus Christ

~ “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.” Galatians 3:11

~ “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Galatians 2:19

~ We are told in scripture that no man, no person is justified by the law, yet people that claim to be Christians are pretending they can obey the law of God, they are hypocrites and actors, calling God a liar, and making a total mockery of the cross. They refuse to come to the knowledge of truth, because their pride of flesh is telling them that they can obey the law. How Can We Be Righteous Before God? Only By Faith in Jesus, the One Who is Righteous.

~ “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 6:21-23

~ “And God says, Wait a minute, you missed the purpose. I showed you these things in order to show you your total inability to ever live up to that law. And also to tell you very clearly, that even if you did, you’d never be declared righteous in my sight through obedience to the law, that righteousness is going to have to be imputed to you declared to you.

Now it says in verse 21, but now a righteousness from God, apart from the law has been made known to which the law and the prophets testify. You Are Reconciled to God Before You Were Saved

The whole world has been reconciled to God before anyone was saved. Now accept that reconciliation of God, receive it by faith in Christ Jesus. Jesus reconciled you at the cross so that He could come to live in you and give you eternal Life the moment you place faith in Him. You were dead in Adam, and need Life in Christ Jesus. Become born again with the Holy Spirit coming to live in you when you place faith in Him and what He did on the cross for you.

2 Corinthians 5:18,19
¹⁸ All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: ¹⁹ that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
