No Man Will Ever Draw Near to God Through Obedience to the Law ~ Only by Faith in Jesus Christ

~ “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.” Galatians 3:11

~ “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Galatians 2:19

~ We are told in scripture that no man, no person is justified by the law, yet people that claim to be Christians are pretending they can obey the law of God, they are hypocrites and actors, calling God a liar, and making a total mockery of the cross. They refuse to come to the knowledge of truth, because their pride of flesh is telling them that they can obey the law. How Can We Be Righteous Before God? Only By Faith in Jesus, the One Who is Righteous.

~ “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 6:21-23

~ “And God says, Wait a minute, you missed the purpose. I showed you these things in order to show you your total inability to ever live up to that law. And also to tell you very clearly, that even if you did, you’d never be declared righteous in my sight through obedience to the law, that righteousness is going to have to be imputed to you declared to you.

Now it says in verse 21, but now a righteousness from God, apart from the law has been made known to which the law and the prophets testify. You Are Reconciled to God Before You Were Saved

The whole world has been reconciled to God before anyone was saved. Now accept that reconciliation of God, receive it by faith in Christ Jesus. Jesus reconciled you at the cross so that He could come to live in you and give you eternal Life the moment you place faith in Him. You were dead in Adam, and need Life in Christ Jesus. Become born again with the Holy Spirit coming to live in you when you place faith in Him and what He did on the cross for you.

2 Corinthians 5:18,19
¹⁸ All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: ¹⁹ that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

Christ said it is finished, yet the religious world wants to call Jesus God a liar and say to Him, no it isn’t. I need more forgiveness from you God, because it makes me feel so good to keep myself forgiven.

Understanding the Truth of What Christ has Done When we Celebrate the Lord’s Supper

You may have been to church for decades, not realizing the error you have been taught. Someone asks you, “Do you believe in the atoning blood of Jesus? Bob would respond by saying, “No, I don’t. He did not come to atone for sin. He came to take it away.” Words have meaning, and they have meaning in the context they are used in scripture.

Depending on your religious background, an improper understanding of the meaning of words can hinder you from understanding the truth of what Jesus Christ has done for you. Have you been raised in a church that emphasized the passion of Christ and heard the expression, “Holy Communion”? There is nothing holy about communion, of a wafer that you ingest into your body. In many people’s minds, grace has the concept of something you receive by participating in a sacrament, or from an action of a priest on your behalf, such as sprinkling of what is said to be holy water.

With so much religion talk in the world today, including that of Christianity, there is a teaching in both Catholic and Protestant churches that you have to keep going back to God to get your sins forgiven. The Catholic goes to the confession booth to a priest and the Protestant goes to their own virtual confession booth and continually asks for forgiveness of sins. These people are making a mockery of the cross. They have never repented in their understanding of what Jesus did on the cross for them. They keep pushing Jesus back up there and asking Jesus for what He has already done. Many many people refuse to believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Join Bob George as he answers these questions and others on the air.
