Bob George shares about the peace of God that surpasses understanding. There is no peace for the wicked. If you are enslaved in sin you do not have peace. Come to Christ to get his peace. Let His peace reign in your heart by faith. As a child of God, if you are choosing to live in sin, then you are not experiencing His peace. Put your faith in the one who died for you to take all your sins away, never to be seen again in the eyes of God. Put your faith in Christ to receive his resurrected life. When you do, you can walk in the life of the Holy Spirit living in you, who is your counselor and comforter. Therefore, keep your eyes on Him. Do not let yourself be anxious but talk to him along life’s way for you will certainly experience tribulation. As you trust Him, your life will be changed as your mind is renewed. Get to know Him by reading His word. In an attitude of thanksgiving and prayer, making your requests known to Him, He will guide your heart and your mind. Bob George TeachingBob George highlights some of the things Jesus did that identifies him as God. Yet many among his own family and own town did not believe in him. How can that be? Have you ever heard a lie and held onto that lie as if it was true? Think of a little lie about Mary being an ever virgin? What other things would you be willing to believe once you believe that? Would you believe in Mary being worshiped as a co-redeemer? That is an example of false teaching today that leads people away from the new life available in Christ Jesus. There is another reason people could not understand spiritual things. All of us were born spiritually dead. That is why Jesus used illustrations from the physical world to explain spiritual truth men know nothing about nor could they. Not until Pentecost, after Jesus finished the work he came to do, was the Holy Spirit given to men, to permanently indwell men, to never leave or forsake them, to those who believe, to be their counselor and guide them into all truth. When Jesus walked the earth there were those who did believe the message concerning Jesus: the Samaritan woman whom Jesus revealed as the promised Messiah, more than a prophet, the official whose son was healed without even Jesus being present, whose faith was credited as righteousness for he told Jesus just say the word and my servant will be healed for I too am a man under authority, and this man was a Gentile, a Roman centurion!… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
