Only by Faith in Jesus Not by Works

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P813 (03-02-23)

What is Faith? And How Am I Saved?

~ “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.” Hebrews 11:1,2

~ Carlos
“Thank you, okay. Sometimes I listen to your program on and off. And my question is about faith. And, first of all, what is faith, and is faith all I need to be saved?”

~ Bob George
“Carlos, it’s not your faith. It’s who your faith is in you and I exercise faith every day we exercise faith, when we sit in the chair that’s going to hold us we exercise faith when we go into a restaurant, that they’re not serving us poison. So we exercise faith every day in something. So it’s, it’s not our faith, it’s who our faith is in. And our faith has to come into the one who claimed to be the way in the truth and the life. And the no one will come to the Father except through me, and that’s the Christ Jesus. And that’s where our faith has to be placed in the one who identified our problem.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Are You a Professor or a Possessor of Jesus

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P806 (02-03-23)

Are You a Professor or a Possessor of Jesus?

~ So many times people give lip service to what Jesus did on the cross. They do not place faith in the finished work, because by their actions they call God a liar. And at the same time, they also camp on the idea that one could lose their eternal salvation, because as a matter-of-fact, they don’t even understand what salvation is. Salvation is receiving Jesus, his eternal life in you, when you place faith in him for everything he did and having taken away the sins of the world (your sins too are included in that) at the cross, we can now shout it from the rooftop, It is FINISHED! Listen as Bob shares Truth with callers on the air.

~ “People who argue or even discuss, losing salvation, don’t know what salvation is. Salvation is an eternal act done by God on a person’s behalf and when God has given an eternal act that’s eternal. But again, what we’re saved from is the consequence of sin, which is Death, The wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Gave Us New Commands of Belief and Love

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P50 (02-01-23)

It’s All of Christ Jesus and none of me

~ “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:4,5

~ “Every command that Jesus gave us is an impossibility for us to carry out in the energy of our own flesh, as we just talked about, it is something that is produced by the life of the vine, not by the branch. And so Jesus gave us the illustration of how this Christian life is lived. In other words, it is not lived by us, it’s no longer I who live Paul said, It’s Christ living in us. Now, when we don’t understand that, the best that we can do, as I said, is to go out and produce something that looks like the real thing, but is not the real thing. And Satan’s greatest tool is to get the real thing, or get what isn’t the real thing, looking as close to what the real thing is.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P804 (01-27-23)

You Are Baptized by the Holy Spirit Into The Body of Christ When You Place Faith in Jesus

~ “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” Galatians 3:27

~ Caller 2
My question is, what is the baptism of the Holy Ghost? And how do I know if I have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost?

Bob George 8:15
Well, if you’re born again, you’ve been given everything that you need for life and godliness. So I would assume that you would be able to discern that that means that you received the Holy Spirit. And that’s exactly what it is. It’s not the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It’s baptized by the Holy Spirit, into the body of Christ. At the point of spiritual birth, Roger, you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God, if and if the Spirit of God doesn’t live in you, you don’t belong to Him. So there’s no such thing as being born again today. And receiving the Spirit tomorrow. That’s an impossibility. It’s taught, but it’s an impossibility. You cannot be born again, apart from being born again of the Spirit, the Spirit of God coming to live in you.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Took Away All Sins on The Cross

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P47 (01-25-23)

Quit Asking for What Jesus HAS Already Done ~ God FORGAVE You at the Cross!

~ They can’t be brought back to repentance, because they never repented to begin with! They are crucifying Jesus over and over again, Catholics and Protestants alike.

~ “And who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.” Hebrews 6:6

~ “But you see where we are absolutely petrified of freedom, what freedom means to us, and unfortunately, too many Christians, evangelical Christians, what freedom means is that you’re free to go out there and live like the devil.

Well, I want to see if that’s what Galatians three said. It said you were called brothers. You my brothers were called to be free. Now, if God called us to be free, then why would we as Born Again Christians be fearful of freedom? Why would we be fearful of telling people, you’ve been called to be set free. When God set you free? It’s because we think we know more than what God does.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

New Covenant Forgive One Another as God Has Forgiven You

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Law & Grace P46 (01-24-23)

The New Covenant ~ Freedom to Serve in Love

~ Forgive as the Lord Forgave You!

~ “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Galatians 5:13

~ “So when Christ Jesus comes to invade your life, does he come to invade your life? To have taken away all of your sins never to see them again? bought you back from darkness into light. reconciled you justified you? Did he do all of those things so that we can continue doing in the energy of our flesh what we were doing before we are born again? In other words, did Christ come to live within you in order to lead you back into a life of lasciviousness? And that is absolutely idiotic. But Bob, that is what the average Christian believes today. And what I say the average Christian believes that is the objection that people have to our teaching. And quite frankly, it’s not our teaching, it’s right out of the Word of God. And that is the teaching of the finality of the cross.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
