Jesus Came to Give Us Eternal Life To All Who Place Faith in Him

~ “27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and my Father are one.” John 10:27-30

~ “But we do not realize that Jesus was raised from the dead, so that that resurrected life that raised Him from the dead can come and raise you and me from the dead, that salvation is not just getting sins forgiven. Salvation is being raised from the dead.

The wages of sin is death, under the law, but the gift of God is life under grace, life and death, you could not have any greater contrast life and death. The Law Was Given to Show Us Our Unrighteousness & The Need For His Righteousness

~ Turning to Christ Jesus for His Righteousness is Called Repentance Unto Life

~ “The purpose of the law we’ve studied is to show us our need for salvation and to point us to Christ. Once this is done, the law’s done its job. So therefore there’s no purpose of the law. In as much as the Spirit of God is now indwelling, a true believer, and leading them constantly into the truth of Christ Jesus. And it is through our knowledge of Him, it says that we learned that we have everything that we need for life and godliness. And so the law has done its work, it showed me my face was dirty, it’s like a mirror. But the mirror cannot wash your face. The mirror merely shows you your need for cleansing, and you turn with empty arms. And you hear the voice behind you saying, Bob, turn to me, come to me. And that’s what turning is. That’s what repentance is, it’s changing your mind. ~ “You know, there’s a world of difference between being under the law and reigning in life to the one man Christ Jesus living above the law, I’ll say, it’s kind of like, someone asked once someone one time, how are you doing? He said, Well, under the circumstances, I’m doing okay, they said, What are you doing under those? God didn’t call us to live under the circumstances, he called us to reign above the circumstances. But I want to tell you, as long as you’re under the law, you’re never going to reign in life, all you’re going to do is to be condemned to death. Yes. And so those kinds of things can be corrected, what is the sad thing in your life is the deal between you and your wife? And that, to me is sad, especially with her finding out the news in regard to her health, and she knows she doesn’t want to go through that by herself. Belief in Jesus is Not the Same as Faith in Jesus

~ “But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,” John 2:24

~ “Jesus said, If you hold on to my teaching, you really are my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set me free. Now, you see, here were some people who said it says that they believed him. But the issue is, do they really believe him? And we have to be cognizant of the fact that every place that it states that someone believed did not mean they were a believer. It says that in second chapter of John, it talks about that they saw the miracles he did and believed, believed in his name. But it says Jesus didn’t entrust himself to them. You saw Simon, the sorcerer who they said, believed and then tried to buy the Holy Spirit. Well, you see, what is that was people say, Yeah, I believe he can do something for me. And we all function to that, what have you done for me lately? ~ True faith is trusting in Jesus for what he did on the cross for you. Jesus has forgiven You (past tense). Faith says thank you to God.

~ The only kind of life that can be restored to a man who is dead is resurrection life.

~ No man can redeem the life of another. No payment is ever enough.

~ What is redemption from God’s perspective?

~ What is an empty way of life? What makes it empty?

~ How can dead people make themselves acceptable to other people?
