The Wicked Lost Will Not Inherit the Kingdom of God

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P540 (05-29-20)

Synopsis

In this day and age of the Coronavirus, and various events going on in the political realm, people have asked even today, what needs to be done to stop these evil or deceived people who are pushing for this one world government? What should pastors do? Even in Bob’s lifetime, people called in asking the same question. First of, if you are a pastor, or any born again believer for that matter, do not get side-tracked from your primary purpose, and that is to proclaim the gospel. All of these events we continue to see happening are certainly signs of the end times and preparation for what we know is prophesied in Revelation. The greatest avenue we have, each citizen of the United States, is to exercise our voting rights. If you are in Christ, then you need to ask for wisdom from God, so your vote is in accordance with understanding and discernment, for Jesus even told us to not let anyone deceive you. And, we are certainly instructed to pray for all those in authority over us that we may live peaceable and quiet lives.

But to put it into perspective, if everyone in America was lost but us, then what would it matter if we went out of our way to win the battle for political correctness?… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

A Closer Look at the Reality of the Resurrection

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P539 (05-28-20)

Synopsis

From time to time, is it not wonderful to hear encouragement from those who are helped by hearing truth from God’s word, as you were able to participate in the divine nature, allowing God to speak through you? There is no greater joy, Paul says, than to see my children walking in the truth. At times, we can grow weary, but God promises that His word does not return void, and God never forgets the labor of love you do in the Lord. Even Enoch speaks even though he is dead, the testimony of God, of what faith in God is all about. Think about it. Enoch was a man noted by his faith, and faith is what pleases God. Enoch did not face death, but God took him up, and he was no more, for God took him to be with Him, for scripture says he pleased God. God is taking all of us to be with Him one day, and all of our troubles, trials and tribulations will cease. Does it not help you see that for the joy set before Christ endured the cross, scorning it’s shame?

Right now, many of us long for our loved ones, family members, to come to Christ.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus is Our Righteousness From God

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Faith, Hope & Love P18 (05-27-20)

Synopsis

This faith is in what God has promised, and that is that life is in His Son. Will you believe that? Will you place your trust in what God has said? Now, when you are in Christ, what do you have? Eternal life. What else do you have? Redemption and forgiveness of sins. What else do you have? The very righteousness of God credited to you. Forgiveness of sins does not give you righteousness. That clears the deck of the sins of the entire world so life can be given, and it came at a great price, the shedding of the blood of the eternal Son of God. But death does not give you life. Life gives you life. Righteousness is who God is, perfect without sin, holy and pure and blameless. So when you are in Him, you have every spiritual blessing in Christ, which includes His righteousness imputed to you, and eternal life, for He is God eternal. It is an exchanged life. He took away your sin, and then offered you eternal life. He took away your sins over 2000 years ago, and then offered you His life, and at the moment you accepted His offer of life, eternal life and every spiritual blessing that is in Christ, is yours.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Faith in Jesus Must be the Object of Faith

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Faith, Hope & Love P17 (05-26-20)

Synopsis

In this study on Faith, Hope and Love, we have looked into what faith is, what faith is not, and that there is misplaced faith, and then there is faith placed properly on what is true, and on the one who is the way, the truth and the life. This faith in Christ Jesus, who is God in the flesh, is the faith we are talking about. Now this truth is what men cannot grasp on their own. This truth must be revealed by the Spirit of God to the hearts of men.

Now, many times, people relegate faith to just this aspect of getting saved, but then so many people do not really understand what saved means. If you grew up never hearing the word “saved” then you might respond by saying, “What are you talking about? Saved from what?” Other people might have grown up in a denomination where the word “saved” was often heard. You might have heard someone say, “Come forward to get your sins forgiven?” So you come to think being saved is getting your sins forgiven, as if that is where you get righteousness.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Forgave You Once For All

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Faith, Hope & Love P16 (05-25-20)

Synopsis

This faith we profess, what is it? That Christ is our hope and our love. It is because of His love that I know what love is. This love was given to me as a gift. He came and did something for me I could never do for myself. There is power in God’s love. The same power that created all that we see and even what we do not see is the power of God. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Faith calls out to know this God who has provided everything for our good, even for such basic things as the food we eat and the clothes we wear. By faith, we believe the testimony God has said about His Son, that He is the one who is the creator of the world. We come to understand that He came to make God known to us so that we might believe and be saved. The same power that raised him from the dead will raise us up from the dead also.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Faith in my God Jesus

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Faith, Hope & Love P15 (05-20-20)

Synopsis

Bob George shares foundational truth from God’s word concerning who Jesus Christ is and what he has said he has done for you and me. Jesus Christ is the object of our faith. He is the way, the truth and the life. He is God in the flesh, whom God sent to this earth to show us how man was designed to live. Even though he is God, he chose to live as man, living in total dependency upon His Father. Here was Jesus who was never anything less than God, finding Himself in appearance as a man, humbling Himself and walking in dependency or in obedience to His Father. He said the statement. “I do nothing on my own but I speak just what the Father has taught me.” We read that in John 8:28 and in John 12:49-50. “I do not speak on my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it.” He did his, so that we, who are not God, will know how to live, living in faith in what truth is, in listening to the voice of God, believing what He says and acting on that truth He reveals to us.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
