Jesus Said it is Finished!

There are so many times where only a portion of the gospel is given today, or simply a piece of truth and not the whole truth. People hear that their sins are forgiven, but if they do this or do that they can get more forgiveness by God. Even the scriptures are taught out of context, to the point that most people do not rightly divide truth. So it is with forgiveness. Jesus said it is finished, everything He did on the cross, and when He comes again, He is not coming to deal with sin again.

You Must be Born Again

Are You Born Again of The Holy Spirit? Understanding the New Covenant

So many people today want to argue with the truth about the New Covenant. They still act like they are living under an old Covenant, and they will get mad as a hornet if you try and share the truth of the New Covenant with them. They will argue till they are blue in the face, justifying their own belief system and remain in error.

A person must be born again of the Holy Spirit of God in order to be saved. Salvation is Life, the Life of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit coming to live in a person when they receive Jesus, God in flesh and what He did on the cross for them by faith. This is not faith in your faith, but faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross for you.

Salvation is Life in God Jesus

If You Believe You Can Lose Salvation, Are You Saved?

First off, we have to share what the bible shares as truth. No one can earn their salvation. Jesus did not die for the righteous, for there are none. Jesus died for the forgiveness of the sins of the whole world. While we were all still sinners, Jesus died for us then, so that He could come and live in us now when we accept Him by faith. Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is eternal life in Christ Jesus. So the moment you receive Jesus as God in the flesh, and accept (believe in) what He did for you on the cross, you have His eternal life living in you. It is not something you can earn or work your way towards. So, how could you lose something that only God could give you, eternal life?

Quit making a mockery of the cross. The Holy Spirit is telling you that Jesus has done it all. There’s no more sacrifice for sins.

But now the Holy Spirit testifying about it today that this is the Covenant that I’m going to make with them at that time says the Lord, and in that He says their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more and where these have been that’s past tense, folks, forgiven. There’s no longer any sacrifice for sins.
