In Jesus We Are New Creations

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P39 (05-03-23)

When You Become a Child of God, You are In The Light as a New Creation!

~ “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

~ “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

~ “When you become a child of God, a new creature in Christ, you’re in the light doing dark things, there’s a conflict. So he says that Jesus said that I am the light of the world. And Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness. If you’re in Christ Jesus, you will never ever be in darkness, you might act like you are. But you will never be in darkness. And you will have the light of life living in you. Well, the Pharisees challenged him on this. They said, here you are appearing as your own witness, you know, like, Okay big guy, who you, who do you think you are, you’re in there saying these things on your own, and your testimony is not valid.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P38 (05-02-23)

When The Holy Spirit Baptizes Us We Are Placed Into The One Body of Christ Jesus

~ “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Judaeans or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:13

~ “And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.: Galatians 3:27

It’s so important for us to understand today, that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is done by God today. When we place faith in Jesus, God in flesh, for having done it ALL for us on the cross, having completely forgiven us, He baptizes us with the Spirit of God, placing us into the body of Christ Jesus. And there is only one body, made up of many parts. No one is saved by water baptism.

~ “Now, folks, you’re talking about two baptisms. You’re talking about a water baptism that John gave for cleansing, ceremonial, it says ceremonial washings, which was very prevalent in the Hebrew community. And then you’re talking about a final spiritual baptism, and we keep always getting hung up on the physical things.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Said To Them Jesus Offers Living Water

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P37 (05-01-23)

Have You Placed Faith in Jesus? Or Are You Placing Faith in ALL the Wrong Things?

~ Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me. You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come.” John 7:33,34

~ On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. John 7:37-39

~ “And so then Jesus still teaching in the temple courts cried out, yes, you know, me, and you know where I’m from. I’m not here on my own, but he who has sent me is true. You do not know Him. In other words, you said you don’t know my Father. You don’t know God.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

The Holy Spirit Will Lead You in All Truth

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P36 (04-26-23)

Are You Trusting the Holy Spirit to Teach You ALL Things?

~ “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you ALL THINGS and will bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you.” John 14:26

~ So often, we put our faith in ourselves, in our own understanding of things, or in teachers themselves, instead of God who lives in us, if indeed you are a child of God the Holy Spirit lives in you! Today, most people do not realize the massive errors they have been taught, and it must be revealed by the Holy Spirit himself. And God made a promise to us, that He would teach us ALL things by the Holy Spirit who now is alive in us for all those who are born again believers in Christ Jesus.

“And folks, it just, again, solidifies the fact of how important it is to be taught properly. Because if you’re taught error, and you hear truth, you’re going to rebel against truth. And that’s why it’s important that you know, truth. And that’s why it’s important that you don’t get your truth, just from a teacher, God will use a teacher, to let you know, hopefully what God has revealed through us.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Focus on Jesus not The Storm

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P27 (04-05-23)

Focus on JESUS, not the Storm

~ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:31

“Now let’s go back again to the book of Matthew, and pick up, the story in Matthew, verse 22, in Matthew 14. Now in Matthew, He says Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. Remember, he had just finished feeding the 5000. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountain side by himself to pray. And when evening came, he was there alone. But the boat was already a considerable distance from land, we now know to to two and a half miles, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. And during the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went out to them walking on the lake. And when the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. It’s a ghost, they said, and they cried out with fear. But Jesus immediately said to them, Take courage it is I, don’t be afraid.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Focus on Jesus

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P26 (04-04-23)

Focus on Jesus ~ Turn Your Eyes on Jesus

~ Jesus said, “If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.” John 5:46

“And what Christ said, is to focus on Him, to turn your eyes upon Jesus and to look full in his wonderful face. And the things of the world will grow strangely dim in the light of his wonder and grace to keep your eyes upon Jesus. And what that is meaning is to focus on Christ, he should be the focus of everything that we do, and everything that we say, in this life. And he came into the world to tell people this truth. And there was rebellion against that, because their focus was on something else, their focus, in this particular case, was on their religion, on their traditions, and on the teaching of Moses, and on the person of Moses. And so they would have been saying, Look, we’re followers of Moses, not you. And so he was saying to them, that I’m not going to accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, the very person that you say that you’re focused upon, and that you have your faith in is the very person that’s going to accuse you.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
