Welcome to The Study of the Book of Galatians

~ Join us as we begin our study on the letter to the Galatians. The letter to the Galatians, was written by the Apostle Paul and sent to the churches in the providence of Galatia. This letter would have been read by people in those churches, not buildings, but churches (believers who met together in homes), and were learning more about Jesus and the Truth of the New Covenant we live in today and understanding the difference between law and grace. And Paul, a straight shooter, tells it like it is, unlike most people today who are timid of telling it like it is. And when there is a troubling issue going on in the early church, he doesn’t mince words. He tells them as clear as day as to what is going on. And it has to do with the key message of Law and Grace.

Legalism Comes in Many Many Forms Today

~ There are many folks that will use ONLY the King James translation of the bible and are so into it, and pound it down people’s throats, that they worship the translation of the Bible itself, instead of worshipping the TRUTH, JESUS himself. They will elevate the translation even above the copies of the original manuscripts of the word of God. In fact, they don’t even know what salvation is. And that is the tip of the iceberg with people like this. They refuse to come to the knowledge of TRUTH. They think that the original words written down must have been written down in the English language. And yet when you question them, well what about all the other countries of the world, where they don’t speak English? And they will simply make some sort of lame excuse that well today English is the most prevalent language used, as though that makes it correct to be a KJV only person. ~ One of the biggest lies that Satan was able to get people to believe in within the church is that of ongoing forgiveness by God. People fell for this hook, line and sinker. It doesn’t matter whether a person is Catholic or Protestant, because both pretend that God is going to forgive them of their sins when they ask God to do it. They have not exercised faith in completed forgiveness at the cross. It is the sin that so easily entangles a person today. The sin of subtle unbelief, by listening to the lies of Satan, through his false ministers of self righteousness. And it goes on and on and never stops, because people hardly share TRUTH with others today. Whoever Has The Son Has Life

~ And whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. This is key for our understanding of who is saved and who is not saved. People get this idea that they get the life of God sometime in the future, instead of the very moment they accepted by faith Jesus, God in flesh, who reconciled the whole world unto himself and is no longer counting their sins against them. No one gets their sins forgiven today. For without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness by God. Jesus died once for all sins, for all time, for everyone. Jesus is never going to die on a cross ever again. When a person accepts Jesus, who took away all their sins on the cross, God’s Spirit comes to live in the true believer and begins the process of renewing their mind. ~ When a person is in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives in them, and he never stops teaching us about the grace of God. Scripture tells us, that we are children of God when we have the Spirit of God living in us. And if a person does not have the Spirit of God living in them, they are not a child of God. This is critical to understand both from a lost and saved perspective. He who has the Son, is Saved, he who does NOT have the Son of God is Dead Lost. A person is dead from a spiritual standpoint, because they do not have the Holy Spirit living in them. Now once a person has the Holy Spirit living in them, then God will discipline them forever. Not By Works of The Law

Those Under Law Are NOT Lead By the Holy Spirit

~ The person who is under law cannot be lead by the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit does not live in them. They are NOT children of God. They are lost and in need of salvation for life. And as the Scriptures says, salvation is Life in Christ Jesus. Jesus is Life. Those in Jesus, have Life. Those that don’t have Jesus are dead, for the Holy Spirit of God does not live in them. Many will say that they are saved, when in reality they don’t know what salvation is. They have all different ideas of salvation. Some think they are saved when they got their sins forgiven (when they asked God to forgive them the first time in their life). This is NOT salvation. Other times, people think they are saved when they got baptized by water by a priest or a pastor. This is NOT salvation. Other’s think they are saved, when they do more good works rather than bad works, and that God grades on the curve. This is NOT salvation.
