It is Because of God’s Love For Us That We Have Eternal Life in Him

~ Ephesians 3:14-21

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

If You Are in Christ Jesus, You Have Eternal Life

~ God so loved the world, John 3:16, that he gave what? his one and only Son, this is part of the testimony of God concerning His Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have what kind of life? eternal life. If eternal life could be lost, it have to be temporal. So yeah, he didn’t give you temporal life. If he gave you temporal life, he would have testified to that fact. He gave you eternal life. John 10:28, I gave them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can snatch them out of my hand. Folks did you hear that? No one can snatch you out of the hand of Jesus Christ. Are you in Christ? Do you have the Son? Yeah. What do you have? Life. What kind of life? Eternal life. Can you ever lose it? No, nobody will ever snatch me out of the hand of God.

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

~ Here’s God’s testimony, and you have to make up your mind about something folks. Do you believe God is real? Who is your God? And when you look at that, you’re you’re saying to yourself, who you thinking about most during the day yourself? Or are you thinking about your God? Is your god your pocketbook? Is your god your career? Is the god your own fleshly desires? Is your do is your mindset. Lord, not my will but yours be done? Or is your mindset Lord, not your will, but mine be done? And that helps us to determine who’s your God? Are you paying attention to him? If God says something, folks, that’s the case, he spoke this world into existence. And we certainly don’t have a problem looking around and seeing this is quite a thing, it’s quite a place that he spoke into existence. Now, here’s his testimony about his Son. You Are Forgiven Once For All

All Your Sins Have Been Forgiven Once For All at The Cross

~ Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. (Hebrews 9:22) So many times, we overlook key points of Scripture and don’t exercise faith in what we know to be true. To continue to ask God for forgiveness is telling God that you don’t believe He forgave (past tense) you of all your sins on the cross. It is time to put that thinking to rest and stop making a mockery of the cross and effectively calling God a liar. Instead, thank Him for the forgiveness you have in Christ Jesus and recognize that He forgave you of every sin before you even committed it. Thank you God is your confession of faith. Believe it! Believe in Jesus. Believe “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19

Thank you God for having forgiven me of all of my sins on the cross!!!

What is Faith? How to Know You are Saved in Christ Jesus

~ So many times, people don’t have a proper understanding of what salvation really is. Many people think salvation is getting your sins forgiven to begin with the first time they ask for it. Others think salvation is simply believing in Christ Jesus. Others think salvation is doing some sort of works or daily things to get salvation and maintain salvation. It’s a difficult thing to grasp with some people, because they want to maintain their idea of salvation by asking for forgiveness of their sins to begin with, and then maintain their salvation with ongoing asking for forgiveness over and over again as both Catholics in the confession booths and Protestants in their virtual confession booths erroneously do.

We are told in Scripture that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. And we are also told that salvation is receiving the Life of Christ, through the Holy Spirit coming to indwell a person when they place faith in Jesus and the finished work He did on the cross for them personally.

Do You Understand What the Word of God Means?

Sometimes as a Christian, we can get frustrated with others or even angry that others do not understand the Word of God as it relates to their living or wanting to do things that are contradictory to the clear teaching of the word of God. Many times, people that we think (assume) are Christians are not Christians, and that is why they do not understand the word of God. They have not been sanctified by the Truth yet. They are not born again believers in Christ Jesus.

Now from our standpoint (those of us who are born again) we get angry with some of those that we may be very close to, and it is because of the fear that creeps into our own being. We react in fear, and lash out in anger, even if it is held inside ourselves when someone doesn’t get what you yourself know is Truth. So, if you see a person that doesn’t understand the word of God, instead of getting angry inside, share Truth with them. Don’t assume a person is saved, for God wants everyone to come to repentance and to come to faith in Him, and so there is an opportunity presented to us.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
