The Law Was Given to Show Us Our Unrighteousness & The Need For His Righteousness

~ Turning to Christ Jesus for His Righteousness is Called Repentance Unto Life

~ “The purpose of the law we’ve studied is to show us our need for salvation and to point us to Christ. Once this is done, the law’s done its job. So therefore there’s no purpose of the law. In as much as the Spirit of God is now indwelling, a true believer, and leading them constantly into the truth of Christ Jesus. And it is through our knowledge of Him, it says that we learned that we have everything that we need for life and godliness. And so the law has done its work, it showed me my face was dirty, it’s like a mirror. But the mirror cannot wash your face. The mirror merely shows you your need for cleansing, and you turn with empty arms. And you hear the voice behind you saying, Bob, turn to me, come to me. And that’s what turning is. That’s what repentance is, it’s changing your mind. ~ “You know, there’s a world of difference between being under the law and reigning in life to the one man Christ Jesus living above the law, I’ll say, it’s kind of like, someone asked once someone one time, how are you doing? He said, Well, under the circumstances, I’m doing okay, they said, What are you doing under those? God didn’t call us to live under the circumstances, he called us to reign above the circumstances. But I want to tell you, as long as you’re under the law, you’re never going to reign in life, all you’re going to do is to be condemned to death. Yes. God Doesn’t Tempt Anyone, Nor Can God be Tempted!

~ “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:” James 1:13

~ We blame God for so many things in the world today instead of putting the blame on where it should be, on the evil one. Satan even has the Christian world blaming God on the fall and even the creation of the world, as though God didn’t do his job properly. Let’s start with the basics. It’s so important for us to understand that God cannot be tempted, nor does God tempt anyone. God created us with a freewill and the ability to choose. Some people get into the mode of thinking that because God foreknew what was going to happen in the Garden of Eden and with everything else, they then place the blame on God for all the wrongs and evil in the world. But here is the thing, we are not God, we are not all knowing as God is. His foreknowledge is for God and Him alone. How to Live by Faith

~ The thing that pleases God is faith. We can only live our life at this very moment in time. Our tomorrow is in God’s hands. Our very next moment is also in God’s hands. That’s why the word of God says it is Faith from First to Last. Only God knows the exact future of what is going to happen and when it is going to happen and how it is going to happen. When Jesus, God in flesh came down here and became as a man, he showed us how a man was to live in total dependency on God the Father moment by moment of His life. Furthermore, our righteousness is not based on what we do or don’t do, but by Faith in the righteous One. For only He and He alone is righteous. And if I am going to be found righteous in the sight of God, I am going to have to be found in HIM! And that only occurs by Faith in Him to begin with. How Can We Be Righteous Before God? Only By Faith in Jesus, the One Who is Righteous.

~ “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 6:21-23

~ “And God says, Wait a minute, you missed the purpose. I showed you these things in order to show you your total inability to ever live up to that law. And also to tell you very clearly, that even if you did, you’d never be declared righteous in my sight through obedience to the law, that righteousness is going to have to be imputed to you declared to you.

Now it says in verse 21, but now a righteousness from God, apart from the law has been made known to which the law and the prophets testify.
