Jesus Reconciled Us To God

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P41 (03-02-22)

Led by the Spirit – Not Under Law

Let’s continue on our journey in a Closer Look at the Reality of the Resurrection. Bob picks up where he left off and shares some heartfelt thoughts on the matter.

Bob: I don’t think that I’ve personally in my 20 some years in the ministry have had any more fun than what I have had in teaching through these Bible study series. I started out as a brand new Christian and teaching whole Bible studies and it’s always just been something that has been terrifically a part of my life. Why, I guess I’m able to do what I do on the radio. Every night is the preparation work that God did in my life in those home Bible studies. Because all our radio broadcasts are to me just a great big old Bible study across the country. And having the privilege of taking these Fridays to teach on the air has been a privilege, beyond privilege to me. We debated on that for many years, if you remember about whether to do that, and we kept getting … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Came to Save Sinners

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P699 (01-13-22)

The Saving Life of Jesus Christ – Salvation for Sinners!

Clarence called from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He called about salvation. He said he had lived a hard life, and a life of sin. He wanted know if he could be healed. He wanted to know if he could be saved. He wanted to know if there was any hope for him. He asked the bottom-line question, “Am I earmarked for damnation now? Or is there anyway at this point that I can be saved?”

Bob George Shares the Gospel.

Yes, Clarence you can be saved.

Bob says to the salvation question, “Yes absolutely, God didn’t come to save good people, there aren’t any good people. He only came to save sinners. And in that, we are all well qualified.

What we need to realize that when Jesus went to a cross 2000 years ago, there, He, Jesus, who knew no sin, literally took upon himself and became sin for the sins of the whole world; back to Adam and forward to eternity, and there He who knew no sin became sin for us so that in His resurrection we could become … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Reality of the Resurrection of Jesus

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P9 (12-06-21)

Understanding the Fullness of the Gospel

When learning about new things, we tend to learn it better and retain what we have learned when we hear something and see something. Also, when we say it out loud or teach others what we have learned, it reinforces it in our own mind of the truths being taught to us. Jesus even makes mention of this learning experience in the word of God.

For us today, learning the fullness of the Gospel message can be helped along by both hearing the word of God and seeing the word of God and saying the word of God out loud for ourselves too. This is where the Closer Look Bible Studies are so beneficial in teaching us the fullness of the gospel message. We hear it, we read it, we say it, and then we write it down too. We encourage you to pick up your copy of the Bible study booklets as we go through these studies together. As we have mentioned many times, these bible studies are excellent for private home studies, small group studies and even larger … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Convict the World of Unbelief in Jesus

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P37 (11-01-21)

The Fullness of the Gospel; The Finality of the Cross; The Reality of the Resurrection; Christ In You Your Only Hope of Glory

Join Bob as he teaches through this lesson on The Finality of the Cross. We will not understand the reality of the resurrection if we do not understand the finality of the cross. The scriptures bears that out in so many ways. Let us review about this warning of unbelief, that you see to it that you do not fall away from the truth. But you cannot fall away from what you have never come to. So what do we need to see as truth, to rely on and give our hearts to?

Colossians 1:3-4
3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus

I heard about the reliance you have come to on Him. You will note that he did not say because we have heard of your dedication to your denomination. Or I was just thanking God for you because I heard … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Reconciled Us To God

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P35 (10-26-21)

All This Is From God; Come Alive in Christ Jesus; Stop Doubting and Believe; Take God at His Word; Set Aside the Teachings and Traditions of Men

Have you understood the totality of the cross and the reality of the resurrection? If you do, you cannot help but marvel and be overwhelmed with God’s great love for you, and respond with astounding gratitude and worship. You would be so in love with the Lord, who did all this for you! That is our only response to all this is from God.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

He is the one who reconciled us to Himself, who provided the final sacrifice for our sins, who said that without the shedding of blood … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Came to Take Away The Sins of The World on The Cross

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P13 (09-06-21)

Who Is Jesus and for What Reason Did He Die on a Cross Only To Rise Again?

As you think about the fact that our calendar dates have B.C., before Christ, and A.D., Anum Domini, the year of our Lord, you have to conclude there is something significant about a person named Jesus of Nazareth and being identified as Christ or Messiah. Even though the world focuses so much on the birth of Christ, God views the world from the perspective of before the cross and after the cross, the true dividing line of human history. But we do know, just from the calendar, that Jesus was a historical person, who was born into this world, so the whole world must know he existed. To be referenced on our calendars, then he must have accomplished something. What is significant and unique about this person, Christ Jesus?

We come to understand that He is God in the flesh, as all the apostles testified and were eyewitnesses of all He said and did, and witnessed his death, burial and resurrection from the dead. And who has ever seen … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
