Righteousness is Credited by Faith

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ P41 (06-14-22)

If You Are In Christ Jesus, He Gave You His Righteousness

So many people today think that they were righteous in the sight of God before they had the Righteousness of Christ Jesus living in them. We get it in our minds that we were righteous, and simply need forgiven from time to time in order to stay righteous. Folks, that teaching is from the pit of hell. We never had righteousness before we received the righteousness of God.

Listen in as Bob teaches from the word of God in today’s lesson.

2 Corinthians 5:21
21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Taken Away Forever

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ P40 (06-13-22)

Jesus Forgave the Sins of The Whole World

Because we are so preoccupied with trying to keep ourselves clean, and religion throws that in our faces too, that we fail to realize the truth of the word of God. We discount His word and think to ourselves, that God really didn’t die for the sins of the whole world. You hear this type of teaching all over the place today. It doesn’t matter whether a person is a Catholic or a Protestant, both teach the error of ongoing forgiveness. They are not teaching the New Covenant and don’t even understand the New Covenant to begin with. They change the meaning of the word of God to something else.

Listen in as Bob teaches from the word of God in today’s lesson.

1 John 2:2
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

We Were Reconciled to God

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ P39 (06-08-22)

We Have Been Reconciled to God – Reconciliation Happened One Time, At The Cross

The problem with today is that people do not understand the New Covenant. It is seldom taught. People don’t even understand what the term reconciled to God means. We are not saved by the death of Jesus on the cross, we are saved by the Life of Jesus coming to live in you and me, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us when we place faith in Jesus. It is so vitally important that we understand this. Listen in as Bob explains in detail the heart of the gospel.

Jesus Reconciled Us To God

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ P05 (03-22-22)

God was Reconciling the World to Himself in Christ Not Counting Your Sins Against You!

Christian’s need a solid foundation upon which to base their beliefs, and build their lives. The word of God declares that Jesus Christ is that foundation of Truth with that in mind, let’s now take a Closer Look at Your Identity in Christ.

Bob: I believe that a part, of course, from understanding the deity of Christ and the finality of the Cross and the reality of the resurrected life, living in us, which is all a part of your identity, all of that ties into it, but there’s going to have to come a therefore, sooner or later. And that therefore, is I am a child of God. Or aren’t I? And if I am a child of God, what does that mean? And how do I perceive myself as a new creation? Because it certainly doesn’t do me any good to perceive myself as an old creation because that’s not who I am anymore. I’m a new creation and old things have passed away, snd behold, all things have become … Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Came to Save Sinners

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P699 (01-13-22)

The Saving Life of Jesus Christ – Salvation for Sinners!

Clarence called from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He called about salvation. He said he had lived a hard life, and a life of sin. He wanted know if he could be healed. He wanted to know if he could be saved. He wanted to know if there was any hope for him. He asked the bottom-line question, “Am I earmarked for damnation now? Or is there anyway at this point that I can be saved?”

Bob George Shares the Gospel.

Yes, Clarence you can be saved.

Bob says to the salvation question, “Yes absolutely, God didn’t come to save good people, there aren’t any good people. He only came to save sinners. And in that, we are all well qualified.

What we need to realize that when Jesus went to a cross 2000 years ago, there, He, Jesus, who knew no sin, literally took upon himself and became sin for the sins of the whole world; back to Adam and forward to eternity, and there He who knew no sin became sin for us so that in His resurrection we could become … Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Reality of the Resurrection of Jesus

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P9 (12-06-21)

Understanding the Fullness of the Gospel

When learning about new things, we tend to learn it better and retain what we have learned when we hear something and see something. Also, when we say it out loud or teach others what we have learned, it reinforces it in our own mind of the truths being taught to us. Jesus even makes mention of this learning experience in the word of God.

For us today, learning the fullness of the Gospel message can be helped along by both hearing the word of God and seeing the word of God and saying the word of God out loud for ourselves too. This is where the Closer Look Bible Studies are so beneficial in teaching us the fullness of the gospel message. We hear it, we read it, we say it, and then we write it down too. We encourage you to pick up your copy of the Bible study booklets as we go through these studies together. As we have mentioned many times, these bible studies are excellent for private home studies, small group studies and even larger … Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
