Baptism of the Holy Spirit is by God ~ He Baptizes You into the Body of Christ Jesus

~ Jesus said, “I baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” Mark 1:8

When a person becomes born again of the Holy Spirit of God, by faith in Jesus, God in the flesh and what He did on the cross for you personally, having completely forgiven you, the Holy Spirit baptizes (places you into) you into the body of Christ. You are now a new creature in Christ Jesus.

Below is an excerpt from the book “What About …? 1 John 1:9”

“Any good theologian will tell you that it’s intellectual suicide to build an entire doctrine around one verse of scripture. But that’s exactly what we have done with 1 John 1:9. Nowhere else in the New Testament, from the cross on, is the concept of asking God’s forgiveness mentioned. The Apostle Paul never broached the subject. He didn’t have too.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Perfect Love Drives Out Fear

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P767 (09-08-22)

Jesus is Love: Perfect Love Drives Out Fear

~ “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:18

“I can tell you where your anger comes from. Anger comes from fear. And anger is a secondary response to fear. And men don’t like to admit they’re fearful. So they just take it up and angry. They don’t mind saying I’m angry. But anger is just a sign of the fears that are within you. It could be the fear of again, of not being able to stay sober. Fear of not being able to live the kind of life you want to live, fear of people finding out what’s really going on under the skin. There’s a lot of things that we live in fear. And there’s only one solution. And I say that very emphatically one and one alone, one solution to fear. And that’s the perfect love of God perfect love casts away all fear, not some fear, but all of it. Fear has to do with punishment, it says and a man who fears cannot be perfected in love.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

A Child of God Has Repented of Unbelief and Placed Belief in Jesus, God in the Flesh

~ When a person places faith in Jesus, God in the flesh, for what He did on the cross for them personally, God’s Holy Spirit comes to live inside the new believer in Christ. We are told that we are now a child of God. “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” John 1:12,13 We repent of our unbelief in Him and come to faith in Him. Salvation is Life. Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is the Life of God coming to live in you. That happens immediately upon placing faith in Him.

Most people don’t have a clue what salvation or repentance really is. And, it is so vitally important that we come to the knowledge of truth, and walk by faith in the word of God, otherwise we will swayed by every wind of teaching that is in error.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Work of Ministry is to Believe in Jesus

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P758 (08-05-22)

The Work of The Ministry is to Believe in Jesus. Share Jesus With Others as the Holy Spirit Leads You.

~ When we hear the Holy Spirit calling us to share Jesus with others, we are simply to share the truth, and results are in His hands. So many times we tend to get frustrated with others, and we just want to shake them, and say to them, “Don’t you get this? This is great news!” Yet there are times where people simply do not want to open their hearts up to the Lord at that particular point in time in their lives. But here is the thing to remember, “So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” 1 Corinthians 3:7

Don’t get all caught up in the results. The results are in God’s hands. So as we go through life, maybe our ministry is to a select few people that God has placed in your life. Simply make your body available to Him, a living sacrifice that He has made holy, for Him to use you as He wants to.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Salvation is Life in God Jesus

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P757 (08-04-22)

What is Faith? How to Know You are Saved in Christ Jesus

~ So many times, people don’t have a proper understanding of what salvation really is. Many people think salvation is getting your sins forgiven to begin with the first time they ask for it. Others think salvation is simply believing in Christ Jesus. Others think salvation is doing some sort of works or daily things to get salvation and maintain salvation. It’s a difficult thing to grasp with some people, because they want to maintain their idea of salvation by asking for forgiveness of their sins to begin with, and then maintain their salvation with ongoing asking for forgiveness over and over again as both Catholics in the confession booths and Protestants in their virtual confession booths erroneously do.

We are told in Scripture that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. And we are also told that salvation is receiving the Life of Christ, through the Holy Spirit coming to indwell a person when they place faith in Jesus and the finished work He did on the cross for them personally.

So once you have received Jesus, don’t keep asking him over and over to do what he has already done.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
