Bob received calls from several callers who heard error. These are the questions asked. Can I be in and out of fellowship with God? Have I committed the unpardonable sin? What about a young child or the handicapped or those who have never heard the gospel of salvation?

Dale called for clarification of truth from a pastor who spoke error concerning a believer being in and out of fellowship with God. He had incorrectly taught from the parable of the prodigal son from Luke 15 to explain a false teaching of being in and out of fellowship with God. Luke 15 is not talking about a believer but an unsaved lost son who received righteousness by faith and faith alone and an older brother who failed to receive that righteousness by faith. It is really a parable about the self righteous Jew and the non-seeking Gentile who hears the message of Christ, believes and is saved.

Mark calls on behalf of his 8 year old daughter concerning about what happens when young children die. Bob shared that for young children or the mentally handicapped, we just trust in God, who is perfectly loving and just to make such decisions for those decisions are not ours to make.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Turn to the gospel of John.

Let us look at a passage of scripture so important to us that is so clear on what Jesus said in regards to salvation. Salvation is being saved from the consequences of sin, which is death, by the gift of God, which is the resurrected life of Jesus Christ. Mankind has all kinds of opinions on what salvation is. Are you saved by going to a certain denomination? No! By doing enough good or avoiding too much bad? No!

Do you lean on your understanding? We all have that tendency. Do you rely on what man has told you? Do you look at the DaVinci code, the philosophies of men or science for the answer to life? Where is your source of truth and is it reliable? Is it from men or from God and how would you know?

Man has the tendency to rely on his own understanding for truth, which is the same error in the garden of Eden. Adam chose to find out for himself what is right and wrong and what is good and evil. Bob George explains how truth is accepted in the hearts of man, but also rejected by many. Bob shares what attitude a person should have in their heart in order for truth to be made known to them. Do you have the desire to do God’s will? If you do, then when you hear the teaching of Jesus, then you will know the truth when you hear it. No one can do God’s will in the energy of the flesh, but when our desire is there, to do God’s will, the moment we hear truth, we readily accept truth and that truth sets us free. That is why when Jesus asked his disciples, “Do you want to leave too?” that Peter said “Where shall we go? You have the very words of eternal life.”

But what keeps people from receiving truth? We have such a tendency to only see things in the natural realm. How do we understand things of the Spirit when we have never seen Spirit, never came from heaven, and were born spiritually dead. So many callers simply called to thank Bob for the teaching he has done for so many years. Many have read books he had written, such as “Victory over Depression”, while others remember hearing Bob teach at a conference about the finality of the cross or the New Covenant. Their lives were personally changed as they simply replaced error with truth. Two books that these listeners mentioned were “Classic Christianity” and “Victory over Depression”.

Bob summarized the purpose of life by saying we are to live one day at a time, sharing the love of the Father with people. God loves people unconditionally and wants to set them free. If truth is what sets people free, then error is what binds them. The only purpose for us being here is to be available to God to let Him live in us and through us. It is not about living a bunch of principles or under law or getting a bunch of people together doing the same thing, at the same time with the same enthusiasm. Bob George teaches from John 6. Bob shares that the humble of heart are the ones the Father gives to Jesus, whom the Father draws and enables to be saved. The humble have come to the end of themselves, their philosophy, their religion, or their best efforts. Their circumstances, such a divorce or loss of income, and world view of life all came crashing down on them to lead them to the point of despair or frustration. They humbled themselves and said to God, “I can’t but you can”. Now they are ready to turn to Jesus for the answer to life, that Jesus alone is the way, the truth, and the life. But God resists the proud. The proud will not see God. The Father will not give the proud to Jesus for they will not trust him, they do not see their need of him and do not want Him. The proud is satisfied with their religion or tradition or insist that there are many ways to God. Bob George continues teaching from the gospel of John. Currently, he is reading from John 6, picking up after where Jesus just fed five thousand men, not including women and children, on a few loaves of bread and two fish. This whole section here is the key to understanding who you are in Christ Jesus. As you read John 6, notice the response of the Jews. They did not seek to know God but only sought Jesus to have their bellies filled. Seek spiritual food that endures unto eternal life. Let us not seek the Holy Spirit, the Father or an experience but get to know Jesus, that He is God. Do not be proud of heart, but ask the Lord to reveal Himself to you. God look at the attitudes of your heart and not as man sees. He wants to give new life to you. Consider what Jesus is trying to reveal to man about himself, that he is dead and in need of life.
