“Well, did they get it? No, still didn’t get it. So they’re asking questions to kind of get back to where do you gotta give me some more food? But they say, Well, then, if this is the case, that you’re the one who gives us this eternal life that you’re talking about? What must we do? To do the work that God requires? What must we do? In order to please God? How many of you have ever asked that question? How many of you ever sat around saying what do I have to do to please God? I was in a meeting Friday with a group of men, they were saying the same thing, guys sitting around saying, what what do I have to do? It seems like I’m doing this, I’m doing this, but I still don’t know about pleasing God. What did Jesus say to that, folks? Focus on JESUS, not the Storm

~ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:31

“Now let’s go back again to the book of Matthew, and pick up, the story in Matthew, verse 22, in Matthew 14. Now in Matthew, He says Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. Remember, he had just finished feeding the 5000. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountain side by himself to pray. And when evening came, he was there alone. But the boat was already a considerable distance from land, we now know to to two and a half miles, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. And during the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went out to them walking on the lake. And when the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. Focus on Jesus ~ Turn Your Eyes on Jesus

~ Jesus said, “If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.” John 5:46

“And what Christ said, is to focus on Him, to turn your eyes upon Jesus and to look full in his wonderful face. And the things of the world will grow strangely dim in the light of his wonder and grace to keep your eyes upon Jesus. And what that is meaning is to focus on Christ, he should be the focus of everything that we do, and everything that we say, in this life. And he came into the world to tell people this truth. And there was rebellion against that, because their focus was on something else, their focus, in this particular case, was on their religion, on their traditions, and on the teaching of Moses, and on the person of Moses. And so they would have been saying, Look, we’re followers of Moses, not you. And so he was saying to them, that I’m not going to accuse you before the Father. True Agape Love Comes From God

~ “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:7,8

“In chapter 13, he says, I’m going to show you a more excellent way. Because guys, the opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of love is pride. That’s the opposite. Love is patient. Pride is never patient. Love is kind. Pride is never kind. Is it? Love never keeps records of wrongs. Pride can’t afford not to keep records of wrongs. In case you get a little one upmanship on me, I got my record of you to get back at you. There are some people that you can never criticize that they’re not going to put it right back on you. Have you ever known people like that? That you say, Well, you know, you did. this. Oh, that’s what you do too. Got even with them that time. What’s pride, that’s a prideful thing that I’ve got to shoot back. Jesus Says Who do You Say I Am

Jesus Asks Each of Us, “Who Do You Say I Am?

~ “He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Matthew 16:15

“And so he was saying here that you diligently searched the scriptures. You know what the Scriptures say. And you think that by them, you possess eternal life, but he said, these are the Scriptures that testify about Me. And yet you refuse to come to me and receive or to have what? Life, you refuse to have life. So in other words, Jesus again is saying that life is found in me. You may come as we’re going to see a little later you may come to follow me to get fed, you may come to follow me to get a miracle. You may follow me to get healed. You may follow me to get blessings. But you have not come to me to get what you don’t have, life. And again, it’s the whole emphasis of salvation is life. Come unto me and receive life. Why? Jesus is The Truth ~ The Truth Shall Set You Free!

~ “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

“The Holy Spirit came to guide you into how much truth guys? All truth. And who is truth? Jesus. Where’s the Holy Spirit gonna be guiding you? Right into Jesus. Taking the things of Jesus and making them known unto you. He is your guide. In another place, he’s called your counselor what’s a counselor do besides issue drugs? What is a counselor for? To council you. What is he going to counsel you about? Taking the error that’s in your head that has got you in bondage and replacing it with truth that will set you free. Isn’t that what counseling is for? When, if someone comes to us for counseling, there’s one thing that you know that if you’re needing counseling, it’s because you have error in your mind. That shouldn’t be something to sit back and feel bad about who of us doesn’t? Anyone in there doesn’t have any error in your mind It’s why you call them Airheads air.
