Synopsis

Several people called to ask common questions. Many things are not properly understood because people are not reading the word for themselves, not letting the Holy Spirit teach them, or would rather believe what some denominational persuasion has them convinced is true. Such is the case of many of the callers who call.

These callers called because they wanted to know truth and Bob graciously answered their questions from what the Holy Spirit has revealed to him. Is tithing for today? What about Malachi? Am I robbing God? What is the way of giving under the New Covenant? Is God punishing me because I married out of wedlock, and now I am pregnant and had a miscarriage? Should I always turn the other cheek? Should I keep giving to someone who continuously steals from me? What is the line drawn on forgiving somebody? What really is forgiving someone? Am I enabling someone when I keep giving and giving to a person who never changes his stupid or sinful behavior? What happened in the garden of Eden? What happened to all mankind? Can man get that life back again?

Synopsis

It so encouraging, and so thrilling, to hear someone ask what it means to be born again, and then to readily accept the message, and become a child of God. When every day you share truth, and people hear truth, accept it as truth and see someone start walk in a new life. There is no greater joy to see people walking in truth.

Sometimes we get bogged down in our daily lives, being bombarded with legalism or teaching that just weighs us down. The day to day mundane things we do just seems to weigh us down at times. But to know that the time we ourselves get alone with the Lord, letting Him teach us the meaning of the word of God, and see the work God is doing in us. Then, as we simply share truth that has been revealed to us, that truth not only changes our own lives, but it overflows into the lives of others. That makes living so worthwhile.

An often asked question is for help finding a church in their area that is preaching truth. Sadly, this is becoming harder and harder even today. More and more people are staying at home and if they are fortunate, they are meeting in homes with like-minded people who love the truth of the word of God. They want to be in a place where they can be mutually encouraged by one another’s faith and to be guarded from error and walk free.

To those looking for truth, often times they do not know where to look. Yet God gave us His word so we can know the truth. But people are led astray to look for truth in the wrong places, or to form doctrine from books that are not even canon. The canon is the truth as determined within the first hundred years as to the books that are inspired of God, the scriptures, the 66 book of the bible we hold in our hands today. It is dangerous to form doctrine, the foundation of truth, from sources other than God’s word. Several callers asked common questions that people wrestle with today. How should I pray? Should I continually ask God for something over and over again? Should you wait and just trust God to work? If you are born again, you have the Holy Spirit living in you. So now, you have the mind of Christ and can discern the things of God. But do you read God’s word so that your mind can be renewed? How do you know if Bob George, or whoever you listen to, is teaching you correctly? How do you know if your pastor or Sunday school or denominational persuasion is teaching you correctly? You cannot know if you do not open up the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you.

Many times we will let our children see something on television, listening to some self proclaimed experts, who proclaim things as if they are true. Many people do not understand the difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, the difference between law and grace or even how to walk freely in grace.
